Dreadking is the only Rathalos armor I will equip. I don't like the general aesthetics of the Rathalos set, but throw a cape on it AND I'M THERE. (It also has HG Earplugs right out of the box, even without the signature set skill)
Probably one of the best looking Rathalos armor in the series, since the general aesthetic of Rathalos/Rathian armor tends to be knightly like the helmet visor for example, giving it a cape made it more awesome.

I was going to say this during the stream last night but you should do another stream for GU to grind up Deviant armor, at least up until the level 10 quest. It'd make the process a lot less grueling and would be faster in general.

Because I'm impressed on your run for this Dreadking quest, I fought him earlier and finished it off with 1 min left on the clock it was really hard as hell with my Reaver Cruelty 2
That weapon upgrade is the rustrazor splitter, which you get from the Rustrazor ceanataur if you’re a long sword user I highly recommend getting this LS as it’s the best long sword in the game. Especially if you max it out. - From a Fellow LS main

3:26 Oh he does have the tribble Firebite! I thought thats a G-Rank Exclusive. Well, I think it was bigger there. 4:11 Timebomb yes. It takes very long to explode, so you can go out very easily. And no im sure at least Silver, and Azure have the instant Takeoff whit Fireball, since 3U. And they do it from his Side. 15:10 Yup, like here. One Reason why I dislike the Species.
hey Uno, hope all is well... you going to kill me but switched weapons again haha but this time I think I will stick with this one cause it feels a lot better and I have carted so much less... So now I'm playing Aerial and Valor IG... Played IG a lot in World/IB but didn't think I would pick it up in GU.. I love valor because when in Valor state parts of your combo your kinsect actually attacks the monster during it so it's like having the assist kinsect in RIse.. and of course aerial is good cause it allows you to be aggressive because you have this launch move that can either fling you toward the monster or away to escape certain things... I will say the aiming of the kinsect is crap in GU.. I only feel that World had the best version of it. So hunted your fave monster Plesioth because his armour is really good for Aerial anything so that was fun... haha.. well actually he wasn't that bad it was Cephadrome that I had the hardest time fighting to get parts from. I'll be hunting Snowbaren since I read up that that's a good armour for IG but so far only did one fight with him until I can get higher defence and more blue sharpness in the weapons I'm re farming.
I honestly don't know which is better dreadking armor or silver rath armor, there both equal at 840 max defense with no boosts. They both have weakness exploit. I guess it depends if you want critical boost and good slots. Or attack boost L and HG earplugs. P.s there both a pain to make and upgrade. And nice new controller
Apex rathalos feels like an entirely different fight from dreadking, which is probably a good thing because dreadking is terrible. Still has dreadking moves, but it feels different
see...told you can beat him with your current set... would've been great if you had the tail cut too.. I think this weapon is too much or overkill. he died quickly... 😔 I used the valstrax longsword and it was just right, managed to cut the tail before it died 😺😺😺 but this was all good very entertaining 😻😻😻
You actually need to break Dreadking's wings to make him vulnerable to being flashed out of the sky.

I took more than 40 min on dreadking I AND II on solo but the III is difficult bc of rathian 50 min aren't enough for me in solo

Well the Meta was CritBoost+WEX, so probably that.
