- Idk why but I had the urge to try sns on this. This was my 3rd try and went pretty well.

I'd say my favorite part of this run is the proof that, in Monster Hunter, you can simply win with 1 attack, repeated consistantly on the weakpoint. Not only does it look humorous, but it feels good; though, it isn't easy to do. Following the weakpoint takes significant knowledge of the monster's behaviors. But, it still can be done.

It's not the same attack though, it's a combo and it varies in length depending on the opening.
The majority of this run is just the basic 3 hit combo, repeated until both monsters die. If they wanted to, they could win without even using hunter arts if they so chose because of their vast knowledge of the AI. Sword and Shield isn't a single hit kind of weapon, so there isn't any one hit that would be meaningful to spam. The basic x, x, x starting from guard is pretty much similar motion value and animation commitment to any heavy weapon's single spammable move, e.g. HH's ground pound or a Lance charge poke. My point is simply this: If you learn a monster's AI well enough, you can really do whatever you want and you'll still win.

It's still a legend m8. All you need is time, dedication, initiative and practice to get a 3'30 run on Shara Ishvalda with the sns.

@Zack Rezz eh, its damage output in GU is pretty average, and 98% of the randoms I meet don't even use the right combos. The HAs are nice for QoL tho.

How the Prick do you do those 3 X strikes, when I do that It just goes into a Handle bash and slash combo. Without the A input. I also have the Combo book 1 - 4. So, HOW?!
In case that this is not a bait, book of combo has nothing to do with weapon moves or combo. It's for increasing item combination success chance. If the 3 hit combo is referring to is the Up slash, Down slash, Side slash combo, you can perform the Up slash from idle by pressing guard + X and followed with X, X for the other two hits.

zac taylor The quest has both Dreadqueen and Dreadking (kinda a pain to solo)
