I was diagnosed at 36 with Chiari Malformation had the decompression surgery and my neurosurgeon removed a piece of bone i was in the hospital for 3 to 4 days
Best of luck to you Kaite! I have a son who's been through a couple of severe, life-threatening medical things, he talks about that stuff like he's reading a book about someone else, very similarly to how you talk about your brain surgery. Kids are so tough! I hope that you find health and peace!
Hello my name is Roslyn I am 46 yrs. old I've also had this painful condition since birth and I have a shunt. My pain is so severe. Did you have your surgery?
Hi Roslyn, hope you are feeling better. How lung ago did you have the shunt inserted? Have you had any issues with the shunt? Like infection, brain swelling etc? Please advise

Being someone who was born with Spina bifida as well as hydrocephalus (excess water on the brain) I found this episode highly fascinating. ❤️❤️❤️
I had 2 spine surgeries this past July. I had a very rough go. It would make a good story on your podcast. 😬
Hello, were your surgeries successful?
@@ameegrant6055 yes and no

Hi, hope you are better now. Does this mean the Shunt was not a success?
I as well suffer extensively after many years with this disease.
I also live with Syringomyelia and Chiari Malformation
Hi, how are you doing? What symptoms do you have? Did you ever have surgery?
There's no time limits....hahhaahaha. No idea what part of the U.S she was finding G.P's with no time limits!
