That gaming historian. I don't agree with her about games in being set in the old West not getting made often because the era was politically charged. If anything it makes it more interesting. The years following the civil war, native Americans forced off of their land, the suffragette movement. All these things are shown in the game. They don't make it awkward at all. When people think of the old West they think of gunslingers, outlaws, bounty hunters, gangs, indians, little towns, saloons, horses, massive open land for miles and miles and exploration. If anything the reason there aren't more old West games is because they are difficult to pull off. And Rockstar have set and risen the bar for the genre.
I didn’t care for Spider-Man or God of War’s open worlds even though I love those games soo damn much....but with RDR2 I spent 400+ hours even when I have completed the main story and all the side missions cause it never feels like I’m playing a game. This video reminds me of why I've usually avoided (tv)shows about videogames. Why do the hosts always think they have to play an integral part in the segment (riding horses, going to saloons.) It's so corny.
Funny, I have more the impression that people are getting annoyed by multiplayer game.. For example Most people i know just play the single player mode of RDR2 , they use mod and have more fun that RDR online.. same with GTA V.. Even though I am fully aware that the online portion is the biggest money generator ever made from any video game developer.. I think GTA online still holds the record.
Meh This is one of those interviews that we already knew all the answers to... RDR is clearly a singleplayer focussed game. So the best question you can come up with: Do you think singleplayer is important? Do you think its something that its dying or that it is here to stay??? LIKE OFC HES GONNA SAY ITS IMPORTANT.... Seriously????
Too bad Rockstar games killed the single player DLC content completely with GTA 5 and RDR 2. The fact that you can have another story within the world of the main story, is a enjoyable experience which have been completely destroyed because of the introduction of online micro transactions. Now you have empty shells of non communicating characters who has to do meaningless repetitive missions, just to buy overpriced outfits, transportation etc. It's really sad because I grew up with this company. It's like witnessing the downfall of a legendary company. All of this for the love of money.

Firearms available are the rifle, revolver, sniper rifle, tranquilizer gun, uzi, crossbow, assault rifle, shotgun, firearms also have killing animations, i probably forgot a few more weapons lol, i played the PC version perhaps the other platforms had other types of additional weapons. Imagine how incredible Manhunt 3 would be, come on Rockstar games executives and employees the time has arrived i know how hard you all worked on Manhunt 2 the the game is packed with content of superlative superb brilliance, Manhunt 3 development need to commence.
why you are interview these UA-camr instead of developer?
9:19 that right there is a fucking disaster
I can’t stop comparing this guy from rockstar to the face on the screen 👀
Do people get adrenaline from playing fortnite? What has this world become.
Listen to the music at around 6:15. Is this a remix of the score from the fight on the mountain with John and Arthur or is it just me?
No it's a song by clean bandit.
5:49 look at the computer screen for a while :o !
This video reminds me of why I've usually avoided (tv)shows about videogames. Why do the hosts always think they have to play an integral part in the segment (riding horses, going to saloons.) It's so corny.
I just came here for the actual Rockstar interview, not all this other shit. Wtf?
9:48 I thought It was Jane from outside Xbox lmaoooo
@7:13 please say detail more
What is that song at the end?
i wonder what the new generation will think of this in 2060
"gaming historian". In other words -unemployed
They have a plan they just need money
The rockstar studio head sounds like dane cook
Stopping putting music over someone talking.
Meh
This is one of those interviews that we already knew all the answers to...
RDR is clearly a singleplayer focussed game.
So the best question you can come up with: Do you think singleplayer is important? Do you think its something that its dying or that it is here to stay??? LIKE OFC HES GONNA SAY ITS IMPORTANT....
Seriously????
Red dead 2 is the best game I love it
The fuck is that “Gaming Historian”
0:29 was that coyote peterson
12:41 thats what she said.
#wedontdeserverockstargames
I have a question too:Why does Gta Online suck so much?
Where is Leslie Benzies?
The Sadist Leslie benzies was kicked out after GTA online was made 😢
Too bad Rockstar games killed the single player DLC content completely with GTA 5 and RDR 2.
All of this for the love of money.
xD
This is why Rockstar and CD Project Red are the GOAT
Leviticus Cornwall
Cd aint the goat no more lmao😂😂
@@a11ua32 lol

His voice - Reminds me of Chris O'Dowd in Get Shorty aha
ua-cam.com/video/6Wykhr4lYvk/v-deo.html
I just want to say thank you...
Native 4k- only on Xbox one X
@@joe9427 just think it's strange that casual gamers buy into the PRO having 4k on games when they only put out 1400p on there exclusive and multiplatform games which is just over half of 4k.. So when you See Sony advert for RDR2 saying 4k it's a lie..
I am only a storyline/single player , so I guessed I’m fucked in the future
Never have a pc version
Fix your bug error. its a damn shame rockstar.
Rockstar i love you!
What game will be game of the year 2018
1, God of War
2, Spider-Man
3, Red Dead Redemption 2
Comment below
Call of duty?
Red dead redemption 2 ( but god of war is just too damn good )
Basically God Of War was simply Perfect
I think God of War wins based on Gameplay. People had too many issues with RDR2s mechanics. Both had fantastic graphics, story, and acting (although I thought John’s voice actor is very sub-par).
Red Dead is gonna win it. If it weren't for Red Dead then it would go to God of War.
Hero and Woody-hoRsEs
Nah i think they're Racoons 🤣🤣
At least you have To make happy ending
Rockstar 😐😏😏😏😏😏😭
What is the intro music?
Found it:
George Fitzgerald - Siren Calls
