- LCBO workers officially hit the picket lines Friday. As Tina Yazdani reports, union leaders say they will not return to the bargaining table unless a Ford government policy is reversed.
Good 👍🏻
Why not just add additional tax on alcohol for OHIP and Education and remove the LCBO? LCBO does not add value to alcohol, it unnecessarily adds cost so that we can give people jobs to work for a useless organization.
They gave us one more reason for the government to bring wine and other things everywhere
LCBO makes profit because government monopoly. Government can make more profit from alcohol tax in private business model.
Who cares !!!
They will do more harm to themselves, people will just drive over the border or province and load up....I like Doug Ford! We have had privatized liquor stores in Alberta for years and our prices are much, much lower and more competitive......time for some retraining people!! The writing is on the wall.
Ontario loves daddy government
Wait until they go on strike
You think private wat better in why should people 2hrs to liqpir store in alberta

It's not the Union's job (OPSEU) to tell the management i.e. LCBO owners, how they are to run their business.
Sadly, these union members are an analog watch in a digital world. They are trying to roll back the clock to a point in time when only the LCBO had the monopoly on alcohol distribution and sales, and their members would have 100% job security.
If the province decides that they can collect the same amount of revenues without actually running the retail operations directly i.e. privatization, these employees should start retraining for a different line of work. The current wages, benefits and pay they are getting would never be paid by any private sector business for such a low and unskilled job.
🤔🤔🤔
Monopoly.
Weston family want poece of yhst pie right

It’s my money and I don’t see value for service
