Finally someone uploaded this version.... I so missed it. Remembering i was 13 and gluing my eyes on this MV everytime i came across.
Really nostalgic song, the last few lines of lyrics really hits home and grows on you with age. As a 90s kid, this is the first version of the song that I've heard, but even after listening to the original version, I still have to say that this is still my favourite version of the song.
Mdm Tong Yek Xuan，48, had passed away on 10 March 2019. Singapore has lost a musical talent, wrote PM Lee Hsien Loong in his Facebook post. Rest in peace.

I've been listening to this song and enjoying this video immensely. Mandarin is not my best suit. Not fully comprehending the lyrics is no impediment to enjoying this lovely tune. Been watching all the Xinyao videos but never knowing where to lookout for such concerts. Xinyao is Singapore. And it showcases the immense talents that we have and should continue to support.

It's too bad Raxcoon uploaded such a low resolution copy. If Raxcoon recorded his video using 1080p and removed his watermark, I could use modern video editing to remaster the video and correct for color, audio, and picture quality.
Also, if Raxcoon can upload a FLAC/APE of the music, I could re-sync the video using that track as well. The audio (by default) gets compressed too much by UA-cam.
