Coffee makes me smile. Feels like it's part of my heritage. Your piece looks great. Going in a Caroline circle!! Yesss! That's the best line I've heard in ages. 😅 Wow -- the Val bag is gorgeous. Quite an amazing job. Gorgeous! I hope your timer idea keeps working for you. Thanks for sharing your time with us again. Happy stitching!
Hi Caroline, Yasmin certainly has good charts and finishes. Damask Square is gorgeous.Thank you for the tip of finishing the floss on the back. Saturday morning with a cup of coffee and a good book is awesome. Have a great week and happy stitching.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful stitching. I love sitting down with my own stitching or knitting en watching your videos while sipping coffee
Evening Caroline. Congratulations oan your F.F.O. it is Beautiful. Cheering you oan for your next finish. I am stitching oan Florence Mary Dickinson whilst visiting with you today... Together we count. Happy stitching. xx
I love the tango music at the beginning of your videos. I want to watch Hannah’s recital❣️How exciting. I was reminiscing today about watching your early videos out on your island retreat😊 I used to watch on Sunday mornings as I sipped my coffee😊
Coffee is my Jam, never touch the stuff, bit after I went back to College for my next journey of my life I could use and IV of the stuff....bring on that Big cup....thanks for sharing always fun catching up...take care
The damask square is beautiful! It’s going to fantastic when it’s done, can’t wait to see it. I don’t drink coffee, but I would like to make it for a friend.
Your finishes and stitching is amazing, everything is so perfect. First thing in the morning, I indulge in a great cup of coffee and watch all the flosstubes. Everyone is so inspiring and it brings me so much joy. Thank you for sharing!!!
I love your FFO…the pattern, colors, and bag design! Perfection! I just about fell off the treadmill when I realized you were describing my C is for Coffee finish. Thank you for the kind words.
Aha, Kim! Your finish was just so perfect, so creative and pretty - thanks for sharing it in the group, inspiring others on how to visualize something differently- it was great!
Love your little notions bag finish! I recently did a tote bag finish from a larger cross stitch piece and I love it! It took me several cups of coffee deciding on the fabric, though. Cheers from Calgary!
Catherine here.... i so enjoy your youtube blogs and the only thing that makes watching them better is a mellow cup of coffee or cup of peppermint tea.
To me, it’s more than just a hobby. It is a way of life that keeps on giving. From the satisfaction of creating something beautiful to the excitement of waking each day wondering what the day will hold and what I will be drawn to that day. I just found your channel today and am so glad that I did. All of your work is beyond beautiful and I can’t wait to see more. Thank you so much!
Good evening Caroline. Thanks for sharing FFO, WIPs & chatter. Beautiful all around. Ohhh gosh, the bag you received from Val is gorgeous. I quilt but have never done hexies but I do know the work that goes into it. I also love those bags with the flap....just sayin' Evertote, just sayin', wink wink 😁 I always start & end my floss as you described. I don't carry threads over anything more than 3 stitches. From day 1, that's how I learned, well, taught myself. For me, the back has to be as neat...a habit in the Hammer !
Thanks for the update video, most enjoyable to watch. That Ink circles FFO is beautiful, I am inspired. I missed the coffee SAL, but hope to catch the next one. Take care x
It just came to me when watching your video. We never have mistakes. Those’s are way to tell our apart your work from other people. Example is coffee cross stitch other people make it and set it next to your work. You can find your sample because of your special “mistakes “ that’s what I tell myself . love your videos
Coffee ☕️ just coffee 😂. It is one of my greatest loves, or vices. The cross stitch would look awesome in my kitchen. Love the stitch bag you had finished. What was the finished size - it looks perfect for medium things. 😊
Hi i like your stitching always watch your channel im a cross stitch starter since august 2022 but you help me alot love your work i saw your sock knitting and im tying one too keep up your good work regards coffee
My mother loved coffee. I would love to do it in her memory. She passed away last week. And then I had a pacemaker this week. Lots of tears. She wanted to be at the hospital for me. Life can be hard. Oh, those fund raising charts are beautiful I love the peacock.
There is nothing better than sitting here, having my coffee, and watching your video, with all your tips, tricks and ffo’s - and, absolutely love your bag.
Forest Flower is stunning!!! Such an awesome finish! Crossing my fingers for an Ink Circles/Evertote/Roxy Floss collaboration one day in the future! And love that piece by Nuri - so awesome!
Caroline, It was especially great to hear about your family today. It made my heart smile mama to mama I can relate to growing pains. My Riley wore size 12 shoes when he was 15. At sixteen I took him to his yearly physical with his pediatrician who has been with us since he was born. I asked if he was about done growing after they informed me he was 6ft 3inch. Dr Bauer laughed and said of no he’s going to be the size of a small bus. They grow til about age 21. He said they go into hibernation and then there will be a major final growth spirt. Riley graduated at sixteen and joined the ARMY. In April 3 years ago. So he went off to boot camp. When we went down to fort Sill OK to pick him up from boot camp, he had turned into a man. He had grown both physically and emotionally. I was not prepared. He such a empathetic, well mannered, responsible man. He was before. But now. He was the man form. I was so proud when he came running up to me and picked me up and hugged me. And mama is not a lightweight. Three years later he’s been promoted 4 times already. He’s a specialist. He’s deployed for training now. And when he gets home, he’s been told he’s being deployed long term. We are not allowed to know where. He’s wanted to be in the service since he was termite. It all started with one of those big dictionaries of war plans that you can get at Barnes and noble. I could and would love to tell you the rest of the story as it’s remarkable. The piece that made me start was when you were talking about your son’s scarf that you found when cleaning out all the winter wear. Well I was doing the same recently. Riley had this hat like Elmer Fudd always wore. He found it when he was 3 and begged me to buy it. He called it his pilot cap. It was an adult cap. Santa brought it that year. The same year Roudolph and the reindeer left hoof prints in the driveway and a red velvet ribbon with a big sleigh bell attached.Riley was over the moon.
Thank you so much for sharing your stories about your son, you must be so very proud of him ❤️❤️❤️ How they were just so small a few minutes ago and now doing such grown up things is a wonder to behold.
Caroline and Coffee what a treat this morning! ❤❤❤ your stitching it is always perfect- fabric, floss, color way choices perfection. You inspire all of us so much.
Enjoyed breakfast in bed whilst visiting with you. My latest project is a little floss roll to project my threads. Thank you for taking the time. Love your work .Jan .
Beautiful finish miss Caroline. Your project bag looks amazing. I also love the paper pieced bag you received as a gift. Count down is on now till Stitch North. Ali arrives here 2 weeks from today. ❤
Your C for Coffee just gave me an idea!! I love the little white heart that you stitched. My favorite Coffee shop logo is à white bernache bird and it would be so nice to stitch this chart for them with a little bernache where you stitched a heart. I'm really thinking about it!!! Thank you for the idea.
Oooh…your finishes and project bag are stunning! I’m watching early this morning while stitching and enjoying my coffee. The BEST way to start a day! Sooo tickled that you found someone with the chart…or someone found you! I loved seeing your whole floss tube and as usual learn and am inspired by you! I want to make a project bag with one of my stitches to cuddle and beam! 💕
What would we do without our first cuppa coffee in the mornings! Wow, your Ink Circles FFO is so beautiful, I have always wanted to stitch one of their patterns and now seeing yours has enticed me again to check them all out again. The bag is stunning.
Hi Caroline I’m a new subbie. I love your style of cross stitch and all the different things you’ve shown here. Your FFOs are AMAZING! I also enjoy your Evertote channel that you share with Carrie. In fact I found that channel first. Also, I knew you were Canadian but I didn’t realize that you’re so close to where I live now, in New Hamburg. I would say that I’m a little past beginner as a cross stitcher because I’ve only made one FFO. The PDF pattern was purchased from Etsy by my daughter for my 3 yr old granddaughter’s room. A design with Jim Henson and seven other characters stitched on 14 ct Aida was a big challenge for my first project because she wanted the whole thing to be bigger. I didn’t know much about stitch count but knew that I didn’t like the look of 10 ct. In the end, I had to enlarge by drawing each character. After a year, it’s finally done!! i laced it, and framed it myself on an 11x14” frame. Certainly learned a lot by trial and error but I’m very happy to move on to something a little bit more my taste, I’m mostly a sewist, but I’m grateful to have found this wonderful new craft. Now I’m really 🤪looking forward to learning new things from you as well as a few other cross stitchers here on UA-cam that I can relate to. Talk about a rabbit hole! Lol! Hugs 🤗 💕
Enjoying my morning coffee and actually stitching on the coffee cup in Plum Street Samplers Starbarks charts. Coffee and dogs sums up my life these days.
Ink circles are exquisitely beautiful the back is also great .I am trying to do better tks for tips . I love EPP. I tried inklingo by Linda Franz she has a you tube channel but I do mine by hand .I love the hand work .your work is perfection 😊 one cup of coffee in the morning.and usually that is my limit😊
Congratulations on that adorable project bag!! I am stitching Forest Flower now. The EPP project bag you received is perfect. What a thoughtful gift. Just wanted to add the Inklingo is great for high volume of the same fabric hexies but did you know there are acrylic quilt stamps in hexagons that work best for scrappy quilts? They are see through so you can even fussy cut. There is a shop here in The Netherlands that created them. If you need links, I can let you know. They also stamp the sewing and cutting line and are fun and fabulous yo use. I am already pulling up the new collaboration to look at it. And I was not going to order anything until I finished a few WIPs first. 😬 Oops...to cut to resist!! Happy stitching 🧵
Got to say I've never heard of piercing the papers when basting for EPP. In order to reuse the papers you only stitch through the fabric, around the paper. Yes Inklingo is a rabbit hole! But a fabulous one. It's so much faster because there's no basting at all. You just do running stitch, not whipstitch, along the sewing line. It's much more accurate as you don't have the thickness ( no matter how thin the papers are you use it still must be taken into account, particularly over a lot of shapes. Same as having an accurate 1/4 inch seam when quilting. The more seams the more those mm's add up), you get better points and you don't have the sewing thread showing. Beware the rabbit hole and avoid getting sacked into the La Passacaglia pattern!
Thanks Lisa! I baste through the papers because that’s how I was taught, and how they were taught etc, 😂 and it’s how I’m comfortable doing it. I always reuse my templates - even with the piercings, they’re sturdy enough to be used over and over. I’ve definitely drooled over the La Passacaglia pattern, best not to look again 😂😂😂
Well, I do know that these products were specifically made and marketed for this purpose but I’m sure you could stitch on anything! The count on most linen napkins would be much higher I think - the count on my square is around 28 holes per inch
I love to start my day with coffee and flosstube along with my stitching🪡🪡🪡🪡🪡

Oh thank you!
My afternoon coffee is my indulgence. The chart reminds me of my daily latte. Beautiful job!
I have seen the way they put the pattern of coffee on UA-cam. It’s very beautiful.
Enjoyed breakfast in bed whilst visiting with you. My latest project is a little floss roll to project my threads. Thank you for taking the time. Love your work .Jan .
Oh, breakfast in bed is the BEST!!!

Your finish is so elegant, love it!
It was so much fun for me to watch you talk about your coffee finish while I drank my first coffee of the morning and stitch along.
Lol! Hugs 🤗 💕
P.s. sorry for the long post …. And please ignore the googely eyed emoji in my Looking forward… sentence 🤦🏼♀️
Oh yes I watched Jacob's video the other day and it was so wonderful to see him again. And his new charts are delicious much like coffee is. 😃
I cant seem to function without at least one cup of coffee. Love watching you.
Enjoying my morning coffee and actually stitching on the coffee cup in Plum Street Samplers Starbarks charts. Coffee and dogs sums up my life these days.
It is amazing how delicious and satisfying coffee can be in the morning.
🤓
Love the new tote. Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you! 😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
What's a day without Coffee? 😁🥴😎
I can’t wait to buy MFE’s new charts.
I’m way behind in my C is for SAL😢. Maybe I can finish it during StitchNorth
I need to finish a few more wips as well!!! Always something new around the corner ❤️😂
@@OfftheGridNeedlearts to be honest it doesn't matter how you do it as long as you're having fun and are happy with the results.
I couldn’t understand why everybody was mentioning the word “c….” until I got to that part of the video 😂😂😂 Gorgeous bag
😂😂😂😂
Isn't that pre-finished fabric simply a standard linen napkin? Looks like what I have from my mom's linen drawer!
Well, I do know that these products were specifically made and marketed for this purpose but I’m sure you could stitch on anything! The count on most linen napkins would be much higher I think - the count on my square is around 28 holes per inch
