I’m an Alabama fan, but have a lot of family that are Auburn fans. I also enjoy watching Zac Blackerby and his week-to-week analysis on the team. It probably provides no comfort to Auburn fans to say that you have the best 2-4 team in the country, but the record doesn’t reflect the team’s talent. I’m just truly baffled by Freeze’s play calling and unwillingness to make J. Hunter the focal point of the offense. To date, he has 78 carries (13 carries/game) and is averaging 6.8 yards per carry. If Auburn runs it 25-30+ times with Hunter and Alston, I think they have a great chance of winning the game. Freeze needs to stop overthinking it.
He’s running a good offense but the issue is he’s not running the offense that works best for his players.
@@BarretRush18 I would agree with that, but that's where you as the coach need to replace some of these RPOs with an HB Dive/Toss/Counter. I know that Auburn's offensive line isn't elite, but you've got to have trust in your running backs to still be productive and you may need to toss in an extra TE for blocking support.
PT is an example of when a BAD nil deal goes wrong!!!
Truth!!
If we will run the ball 70% of the time, the passing game will open up ! Offense 101
Facts
The passing game does open up now because of the RPO.
Passing game is already open. Execution is just bad
I guess what I mean is, take the RPO plays out and run the ball more. It’s obvious to me that we don’t have a quarterback that can run a RPO system. Just give him the options of pure run or pure pass plays.
Peyton Thorne will be remembered as one of the worse QBs to play for Auburn and had so many opportunities to many opportunities to get it right
True, the problem is Hugh doesn’t have a viable option to bench Thorne for. We’re stuck with Payton this season, win, lose, or draw.
Why not play Hank? PT had 5 INT against Cal vs 3 Int for Hank vs AK. HB sample size is too small.
We running out of patience as damn bases but huge freezing 🥶 going to have his own I love him
As a Auburn fan them winning.. I'll believe it when I see it
We running out of patience as damn bases but huge freezing 🥶 going to have his own I love him in
Even after reading this twice, I cannot understand what you are trying to say? I love Hugh Freeze too. He’s killing it in recruiting so I have faith that he’ll get it turned around and win lotsa games at Auburn. Let Hugh cook.
AU imo has an identity issue and needs leadership. I think the culture at AU is changing for the better tho. Freeze is bringing in guys who love to play for Auburn. I like tgat
This is just another reminder that Zac is the best there is at Locked On, maybe even any outlet, covering sports.
A rather see hunter get 30 carry’s and us lose the game than anything this game
Coach Freeze regretting not getting a quarterback in the draft
Crazy part is we gotta go either 4-2 5-1 or 6-0 to close out to make a bowl game
come on man... its the same cast ( coaches and players ) we will see the same product we have been seeing
Exactly
Yep
Mizz 31 Aub21 we get a little more points at 21 than usual sec games tale mizz -4.5
If young line can block hand the ball off
It's October 2024, anyone else here?
Lol
I'm from November 30, and Auburn just beat Alabama
@@chrisundy2561don’t tease.
It’s December 2025 and Alvin Henderson will become the 2nd Auburn RB win the Heisman
Peyton Thorne needs to average around 18 passes but Hunter and #0 should have 50 carries between the 2 n we will win get in the iForm and run the ball
Playing Thorne tells me we are more happy with being competitive, than actually winning.
Because 3 int in 1st half against Arkansas is the path to winning.
@@RichardC-so7ob true freshman only 1 bad decision in first sec start
@@justinthomas7313not a true freshman but your point is valid.
@@justinthomas7313 Hank is a red shirted freshman. Who isn’t ready yet .Peyton is not the answer either. Let’s hope Walker or deuce can put it all together and fast
Is it me or does everyone who talks to Zac seem more arrogant and obnoxiously snooty
They are just extra formal when talking to Zac because ZAC IS THE BOSS. Literally, Zac is the boss. Zac's job title is "College Channel Manager" for the Locked On Podcast Network. (And of course the Network would put an Auburn man in charge. War Eagle!)

I didn’t get that vibe from John. Now the dude from Florida oh yeah and a few others
