Thank you, Sofia! I really love your honest thought and comparisons. I feel like you are a stellar reviewer, as opposed to someone trying to sell me a product. Keep on being you, as you are an excellent voice in the UA-cam arena.
I love the in-depth review with the tutorial! So helpful. I just got my first ND palettes-retro and my dream. I have held off for yeaaars because I had similar shades and I’m so glad I finally got both of them. I had the modern renaissance and soft glam but these ND palettes are a whole different level of quality. It’s so easy to use these and so much fun. So while you can find similar shades, they just don’t compare, in my opinion. Totally worth splurging as far as the eyeshadow palettes go.
Great job on the review of the palettes. What I did enjoy is the comparison of Pat McGrath's formula to Natash's more creamy formula. I like how Natasha's color stories are just so pretty.
I agree the variation is nice. I didn’t care for bronze, gold, glam and retro because they seemed too one noted. This is the perfect combo of them all for people who don’t collect her palettes.
This was an incredibly good/detailed review 👌 When I saw the ND My Dream palette I immediately thought of ABH Modern Renaissance. Seeing your swatches proved my point. It is a lovely palette, very versatile & it's true, if someone doesn't have the other palettes you showed, this is well worth it. Solid content!
Thank you for such a great review❣🙌😍👍 Loved the comparisons and hearing your thoughts you're a makeup nerd and I LOVE it❣🥰 AND please know that I appreciate SO much that you don't do shorts!! I hate them! And I know stoopid UA-cam is pushing creators towards them so that people feel like they have to make them or it will damage their channel but I even unsubscribed from channels that were doing them too often so yeah keep doing these long awsome thorough reviews that makeup junkies like me love and appreciate 100%❣❣❣
U used the perfect shades cuz I’m not into this palette but after watching this I now want the palette 🤦♀️🤦♀️final look is Perfection and lotta blending 😅
Thank you for this review! I do have a question a bit off topic. I’m in doubt of buying the Retro palette or the ABH Modern Renaissance. Do you prefer one over the other. Or is it possible to provide side by side swatches?
I prefer ABH to the retro palette because personally I like those bright orange tones where as the Retro palette is quite monotone. I would also recommend looking at the Viseart Cashmerie palette
@@SofiaSeesBeauty Thank you for your answer! And thanks for adding another option haha. I also saw ABH Rose Metals and added that to the mix as well. So I think I’m just going to draw straws or something. Or maybe look at my current collection a little better to see what’s “missing’. I just find it hard to see what’s the best addition. But thanks again for you help!
I bought both glam palettes last year. I do like the cheek palette but would like your opinion on the best cheek palette that has blush, highlighter AND bronzer among all the brands because a bronzer was once again the one thing that was missing in the glam palettes
That's a great question. I honestly like the Hourglass palettes for something that has all those in one. Even if you don't like the new ones, they have trios on Ulta and versions from past years!
You're so right about brands duping each other a lot these days. :-( I'm sorry that you experienced irritation from one of the shades, it's not fun when makeup or something we enjoy hurts us. Hope it wasn't extreme
You created really beautiful looks. I love that you can create more looks with this palette, compared to Retro, and Bronze, which I already have. ND is my favorite eyeshadow formula, and I appreciate the transition shades she puts in her palettes unlike Pat McGrath. Looks great for travel, because of the many looks you can get out of it. I’ll pick it up during the Sephora sale. Thanks for your demo.
Hi gal 🥰 Great video, as always, as a detail-oriented perfectionist taurus i'm SO GLAD you're sticking to this extensive, longgg format 🙏❤ I have to say, although this palette is certainly *not* "my dream" as a lover of simple, boring, small eyeshadow palettes, neutral quads, quints... this is too big and *dramatic* for me but I totally see why people are drawn to it, the shades are stunning🤌 It's kinda funny tho how similar recent palette releases have been lately... this Dream one looks kinda like the new Huda one and even like the Pat's most recent mothership 🤣🤷♀️ That being said, if you come over and recreate your gorgeous looks on me i'd buy this whole collection no questions asked 🤣🤣 Lots of love x Sophie
I feel like this is a combo of all the palettes she’s discontinuing like Lila, Sunset and Star (at least I assume as they’re on sale all the time.). It feels very dated to me, actually.
Interesting thoughts there! I think you are on to something because a lot of those palettes are bigger and less neutral so they aren't selling well but maybe she wants to salvage the popular shades
Okay Sofia, you got me, I’m going to need to pick this palette up. You created some beautiful looks, I really love the first one. Am I the Only one that thinks the paint splatters look like bird poop? I was really not interested in this palette, you really did change my mind 😂 💜💜💖
Also thanks for commenting on the differences in the shimmer impact between palettes. I find this is a big factor in my choices. Ppl don't often talk about the differences between on the one hand, glam/biba/retro/zendo softer shimmers vs dream/gold/metropolis/sunrise sparkly shimmers.
Great review, i have and love this palette as well. Do you have a recommendation on best way to apply the cream to powder shades? I use especially the darker one all the time and love it but not sure if there's a best way to use it or tips and tricks since it's a unique formula to my collection.
Sure! I think the trick with the cream to powder shades is to make sure you are not applying it on a sticky base. A lot of times people tell me that they use primer or concealer and then the formula gets very patchy on the lid. I recommend first powdering the eye or applying it on top of one of the other powder formulas
When you say irritation do you mean dry itchy patches on the eyelid? I experienced for the first time this year eyeshadows or eyeliners that have caused redness and eye drainage.
is it me or does it look like there is no glitter particles? i am looking for makeup that lays flat on my skin like diors metalics i dont want glitters are there glitter chunks or particles?
Thanks for the swatches and review! It's very detailed. Do you mind sharing what lipstick you were wearing at the beginning of this video (at 0:01) :)? It looks sooo pretty !!
great idea to swatch finish over shade category. that really shows the versatility much more. i stick to diffused soft colors and finish of chanel, so this is not for me. however, this helps for gift giving.
Don’t your eyes look Beautiful love the shades on you ... trying to watch this while at work🤦♀️ I love how u did your eyes... 👍🙏🏼💪👋💝💄 I Waited for Your review on this !! Your are Always the Best 👍👋💪
Amazing review! Thanks 😊 Thank you for swatching the shades by type (extremely helpful). Having said that, I own all these colours in the rest of her palettes. Not to mention this looks like Pat McGrath wannabe palette. Hard pass for me. On a side note, no one is comparing those 2 purple shades with her failure ‘cranberry palette’, I bet they are identical, only difference the ones in her dream palette hopefully are a better version of those two shades.
Sofia, you put WORK into your videos and it shows! So detailed, so easy to understand, you are so knowledgeable and passionate about makeup and I appreciate you!! Thank you!!
I'm don't like this palette FARRR from my dream palette haha but I li♡ke her formula but colorwise she's so repetitive lately (like patmagrath they keep duping theirselves) I'm more excited for CT and I kinda like the sneak peak from Huda's palette but still waiting to see all the final releases. Thank you so much koukla mou for the great reviews and seeing the products in detail. Love 😍 you lots love from Greece 🇬🇷 ♡♡♡♡♡
When I saw this palette I immediately thought divine rose 1 and 2 and had no desire to run out and get it. I have this color story again and again and to be honest it isn’t really my fave 😂😂. Thank you so much, I don't own any of Natasha denona face products but I have my eye on the face and eye palete but at the same time I wanted to see if the trio face palete was similar enough... It's cheaper than the palette. Because of you I was able to see them together and I've decided do get the face trio!! None of the other reviews swatch them... Only did paletes comparisons. Thank thank you!!
Thanks so much for this thorough review! You’ve inspired me to dig through my collection, as I I have the two PM and soft glam pallets, to see if I can “dupe the vibes” of this pallet from ND before I go out and purchase it ❤
I enjoy and appreciate your in-depth reviews so much . I agree I think that this palette might be becoming one of my favorites too. I have used it everyday since I got it. I love this palette. Sad to say I returned the blush palette. It wasn’t deep enough for my skin tone.😢.
Thank you for the through demos and review of the eye palette and the cheek trio. I love all three looks - especially the first one, which is workplace appropriate. The face trio is the most tempting product for me because I would use all three products. I do think that Natasha Denona’s recent releases reflect a keen business sense - neutral palettes sell better than colorful palettes. I hope you do an update video to confirm (or not) that this is indeed your favorite ND palette. Thanks again! I look forward to your next video.
I love your reviews, especially your color and formula groupings. I have the palette but I haven’t had a chance to get my fingers in it yet. Thank you for also showing us swatches (in addition to your awesome demos) of the individual looks you created, they’re going to be my cheat sheets for starting out.
The looks you created are gorgeous! I purchased the palette a of couple weeks ago, but haven't tried the berry shades yet. I have trouble with eye irritation with several of the berry tones in the Retro palette. Do you, as well?
This is an amazing review! I absolutely loved the looks you created and you definitely convinced me on picking this up and probably picking up the cheek palette too lol 😅
I think this is why I love the my dream palette so much. It pulls together all of those favorite shades with some special textures in one palette. So many great looks, all the shades work so well together. It truly is genius and I’m so glad I have it! It my favorite ND palette of all time.
I love the looks you created. I have the Dream, Glam and Retro palettes and like all of them. I like the new blush palette and the way it applies. I bought the Natasha lipstick and pencil, I thought it would be too light, but I actually really like it too.
My eye palette arrived yesterday and I can’t wait to play with it. I didn’t pick up the cheek trio but now watching your review I am SO tempted to get it!
Hi, dear Sofia, thanks for another very good and very honest review, beautiful video!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I had to much doubts about this one for 2 reasons: 1. i use my more bolder eyeshadows less, being 52 now, i also love more easy sublte stuff, like from Suqqu with is much more friendly on my, more often, sensitive eyes. 2. the quite bold colourstory for my hazel/khaki eyes. But when i hear that a few irritated even your eyes, it's for sure a pass, so thank you for mentioning that Sofia!!!👍I still have lots of PMG/ND/SG shadows that i do not use enough, so it would be a waste, which has nothing to do how beautiful this palette looks, and i'm glad you're so happy with it!!! Will always love my bolder shadows, but gonna give away more of them coming winter, i think, and only keeping the things i love the most, like Mel's Tiny Marvels, the ND big 28 palettes, her first and best work, and of couse PMG palette 7, the Divine Rose palette, but also the Ritualistic quad from Pat, although it's not always easy to apply. From ND i will further keep the Biba of course, the rest i do not know yet, don't want to rush it, but also do not want them to expire, i know someone much younger who loves these shadows, the daughter of my best friend, so they are not gonna be garbage! Even not the ABH one. I can't put it on my eyes anymore, after i found out that Anastasia seems to support Putin, of all people. But than i thought: this has been made now. And for everything i buy, i ask from our planet. So, or i bring myself to use it again, her new palette, my only one, or give it away. But no more ABH here, living in The Netherlands, this bloody war is close, i'm not afraid, but so, so sorry for all people who suffer so much!!! About our very talented Natasha Denona, beautiful work, but, for me than, i hope she comes with a very neutral story, between the Glam and the Bronze palette, with only a few wearable mauves and greens are added, would be really nice!!! I know how creative these people are, Pat as well, but most of us here, are not MUA's i think. But i get it, until 1.5 years ago i was using these shadows so much!!! Thanks again for you being you, always fresh and honest about products, love that!!!!! Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
Thank you for your thoughts Annemarie! I also think while it wouldn’t be exciting, I’d like to have a neutral toned palette from ND with a few pops of color or maybe scaled down versions of those original green and purple 28 pans!
@@SofiaSeesBeauty Yes, would great!!! I don't buy much of these more bold shadows, but when Natasha comes with her very first formula, her 28 in a gorgeous, very quiet coloured palette, i'll purchase it!
i wasn’t interested in the palette at all because i prefer cooler tones, but you did a great job with the tutorials especially the first and third looks! now i want it.
I would actually get the cheek palette bc I am into neutral, berry blushes and I think the highlighters would suit me well. As for the palette, it's great but I am actually thinking of repurchasing her 32-shadow palettes rather than getting the smaller ones.
@@SofiaSeesBeauty oh, they are lovely, I have the purple one but it's quite old. I just swatched the shimmers against my new Mothership Bronze and Midnight Sun and they are still my favorite shimmer formula!
Thank you, Sofia! I really love your honest thought and comparisons. I feel like you are a stellar reviewer, as opposed to someone trying to sell me a product. Keep on being you, as you are an excellent voice in the UA-cam arena.

Yes! As much as I love Pat McGrath palettes, sometimes the shades are so dark that I have to go in with a really light hand for transition shades

Oh boy I have been excitedly waiting for your take on this collection!!!
Yayyy! I hope you enjoy my commentary 🙃💕
i wasn’t interested in the palette at all because i prefer cooler tones, but you did a great job with the tutorials especially the first and third looks! now i want it.
Thank you so much!!
I would actually get the cheek palette bc I am into neutral, berry blushes and I think the highlighters would suit me well. As for the palette, it's great but I am actually thinking of repurchasing her 32-shadow palettes rather than getting the smaller ones.
I still really want those original palettes! Every year I never get to pull the trigger
@@SofiaSeesBeauty oh, they are lovely, I have the purple one but it's quite old. I just swatched the shimmers against my new Mothership Bronze and Midnight Sun and they are still my favorite shimmer formula!
My favorite beauty channel! 💝
Aww 🥰🥰🥰🥰
