  • We finished making the ridges in the first half of April at the farm we rented in March, and spent several days starting around April 10th.
I mixed charcoal, bark compost, oil cake, vermicompost, and EM Bokashi into the soil.
I don't add anything to the potatoes and sweet potatoes.
Appropriate amounts of oil cake, vermicompost, and EM bokashi should be added, about a handful each.
Until the vegetables grow and are harvested, you won't know whether what you put in the soil or the amount was good...
I hope they grow up safely.
I erected posts around the circular ridge where cucumbers and white beans will grow.
At first, I was thinking of making a conical tipi, but the problem was that the posts would be too long.
I had a hard time trying to make the ceiling into an umbrella-like shape and keep it in place, but I thought it would be nice to have a shape that I could stand up from inside.
I'm glad it took shape somehow.
When the cucumbers and white beans grow well and the vines grow, it will become a shady room.
It would be fun if you could pick up the cucumbers hanging from inside the room and eat them!
