These cabins are so unique and they will be missed when they get replaced. This is reason why so many are falling apart. They stopped maintaining them. But they are still great and the Fort is still so awesome to go to.
I think one reason they need to be updated is because the old ones are basically a mobile home. They are not a built from scratch cabin. The new ones will be practically the same floor plan, one difference will be a pull down Murphy bed instead of the sofa bed.
We stayed there in a cabin 10 years ago and loved it. There was a Murphy bed in the living room where the TV is now. There was a regular couch and regular TV. That was before flat screens became popular. My grandchildren tent camp there and love it. I think it is a mistake to replace the cabins but what do I know?
Wow fun memories! We want to try tent camping here sometime too. Yeah it stinks that they are going to replace them but hopefully the new ones will also be cool! Thanks for sharing!
Tri Circle D Ranch is great. I see you saw Red (at 46:35 of your vid). What a great horse. The Cast Members took him out for us in November to see him (I haven't quite yet posted that video, lol). He is a big love bug! Golf carts are a must at the Fort, lol!

@@thealtemlife - we go two or three times a year (hard to get there more being from NJ, lol). The Fort is really our favorite and the Ranch should not be skipped or shorted on time! Hope you get to do the horseback riding one trip!
Thank you for making this video. I like what you showed and it seems it would be fun. However, I could not spend my money with Disney at this point given their extreme liberal and anti-conservative/Christian politics.
That is my stance as well! We have loved Disney in the past and have been there many times. However, we would not go back until if, and when there would be a big change and I don’t see that happening.

I think the 'cabin' is really a mobile home to look like a cabin.
Yes it basically is but Disney refers to them as cabins and they did a good job with them!
