Sounds very different to me. I’ve been listening to them for over a decade and you can tell M Shadows is either holding back (and I fully support him keeping his voice healthy) OR it is beyond damaged. I listened to all of the stage and loved the concept of the cosmos they went for. I still like what they do. But you can tell something is off. Will need to hear the full album to see
@@AlmostJordan recent interview with Eddie Trunk, Shadows said his voice is to the point where he can do anything he wants again. It was a really in depth conversation. The vocal technique on Nobody is intentional. He said each song is different on Life is But a Dream and there are a lot of different vocal techniques used. We also know from another recent interviews that there are a couple of thrash songs as well. Nobody is likely all we’ll get before the album comes out 6/2
@@tyler951 people who follow Avenged closely will definitely what’s going on , it’s just the casual fans or casual listeners who think that he sounds bad or his voice is shot …. it’s definitely intentional
For real. I get tired of hearing that they did. The black album was paying homage to metals greats, like metallica. It wasn't a sellout. Then all the metalhead purists who claim only they decide what is and isn't metal gave up on the band and claimed both HttK and The Stage were trash. Listen to M. Shadows and Syn and it becomes very clear they make music for the art, not to please the mainstream. The whole reason they have stage names is because it pissed the hardcore metal guys off. Sad to see people spew nonsense. Sorry for long comment, I just get tired of seeing the Avenged reactions where people say they "sold out" or "lost their touch."
You guys just gave up on the band after nightmare without REALLY listening to anything they made after. You guys just heard one or two songs after, and just gave up. I would suggest you give The stage a try it's progressive like this song. They've matured alot since nightmare. Their sound and style is definitely different, but more mature. IMO. I do agree they changed after the rev died, but that doesn't mean they became bad....just different I guess. Cool reaction
It literally just came out but you can't say his voice has aged if you listen to We Love you. Voice sounds the same but the waking the fallen screaming in it sounds more refined
Well... I suggest "The Stage" album, cause it's different from the other albums and not only it has an amazing concept, but musically it is amazing as well. They have matured a lot through the years. Keep on rocking, folks! 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
M had a medical issue with his chords. Did some vocal training that will prevent that from happening agin. Like your guys style. As Billy Squire has pointed out that artists are being Stroked by the Industry.
im going to be honest, I hate this song. it's just not good in my ears. the stupid percussion sixteenth notes like thing is just so annoying to me, the effects sound awful and I feel like it builds the whole song to a sub-par solo, but the video itself is awesome
Did you enjoy the new Avenged Sevenfold sound? Does M Shadows sound different for you?

Yes. I heard a few songs off Hail to the King and just wasn't into it. They fell off the radar at that point. We will give the new album a spin.

You should definitely listen to songs off The Stage. There is some good music on that album.
Next Reaction Avenged Sevenfold so far away 👍👍

It's better than anything they've done in the past decade that I've heard. But, I haven't heard that many. I miss the Rev days.
I liked it the first time I heard it and every time I've heard it since I like it more and more and more.
