Thanks for this video and teaching the kanji 急. Before this I had only learned when 早くsometimes can mean hurry. Such as: 早はやく着替きがえなさい。Your videos are excellent.

I remember watching the Japanese news years ago when it was first announced 「緊急事態宣言」for コ〇ナ。 Along with seeing 「救急車」many times I learned 急 pretty easily because of it being a common kanji used back then and is still commonly used today in the news. 救急車 = ambulance 🚑

e.g. 急坂 きゅうはん kyuhan
it means steep slope

"用" does not mean "something". It means to use or to need, and in this context it is the latter - something urgently needed.
