Was the story about the bead in your nose true? Cause when I was 3 I did the same thing with a piece of hot dog, my mom had to take me to the ER immediately.
Not only the tingles, but also educational! I just recently found this channel and it's amazing! I didn't know there a whole culture around this. I always felt tingles when getting haircuts (and some other scenarios) and I really liked it, but I didn't know there were videos to trigger them. Keep up the good work!

KevNoonz Thanks for replying back. I experience the same thing. Only my right ear really feels the ASMR. And I'm right handed as well. I guess that makes a difference for some reason.
This is because your left ear has been trained to listen to words, and your right has been trained for noises. This is subject to almost all people regardless of handededness. Try it, have someone talk to you can cover your right ear, then try it with your left ear covered.

From what I gathered, when people get ASMR, its a tingling sensation in their head... but I've never gotten that. When I get ASMR is starts from my neck and shoots down the the right side of my rib cage on my back. I have hearing loss in my left ear, so I'm sure I would get it on both sides of my back if that weren't the case. It kinda makes me jump, but it doesn't happen very often. Does any one else get this type?

I've watched this a bazillian times. I use Q-tips to clean my ears. I no longer insert them in my ear canal. I knew doing this was discouraged, yet I still did it. It's like this video hypnotized me, and now I don't insert them. Heather, you're not only great for my mental state, but now you're a positive influence on my physical life! Thank you Dr. Feather. :)
Lol you're bring back some childhood memories for me. I put a yellow or clear bead in my nose at like 4 or 5, but I freaked out when I realized I couldn't get it out so my mom & dad knew right away ...a week tho?! You're a trooper! How'd you function?
I had a vaguely similar experience. I was asleep in class and one of my buddies started to put blu tac all over my face and in the outer layer of my ear. Long story short it rolled down my ear into my head, they freaked and out told me, i freaked out and rang my parents, ran out of school, tripped on the way and smashed the crap out of my face. Bleeding copiously i walked into the hospital as the nurses groaned at the sight of my smashed face and i had to tell them that i wasn't actually there for that and that it could wait, could of been worse i guess.
I have the flu and I was laying in my bed morning from body aches when my friend sent me a link to this and know I'm slack-jawed relaxed. I've never heard of ASMR but I'm so glad I did. Thank you Heather for helping me feel better!!!
Between this, your other medical roleplay videos, and medical roleplay videos that other ASMR channels have done, I've started imagining what an ASMR hospital would be like. *someone starts flatlining* Nurse: *whispers* We're losing him! omg okay so I went to the doctor today and he found something in my ear (it looked like a part of an ear bud) and now my asmr is like so much better and I'm so happy!!!
You know, what I really, really love about this channel and your videos: you don't make videos based on scientific bulls**t like acupunture, chakras, reiki and whatever. Even though I love other ASMRtists' channels as well, I just cannot completely relax when someone is "stimulating my root chakra" or whatever. As a scientist, it just makes me mad everytime. This hearing test was the best one yet for me because it didn't assume that I can hear with both ears, I have a very vivid but not very fantastical imagination so when my answers are contradicted in a roleplay that can make it harder for me to relax but this was really good at asking open ended questions that allowed my deafness to work with the video. Thanks :)

+Heather Feather ASMR thanks, Heather. Been seeing lots of doctors lately for my mom. Listening to positive doctor roleplays helps sorta balance out the experience (if that makes sense). I've noticed I've been calmer now at the doctor's, which means I'm more focussed and of better use to my mom. I don't know if I've explained that clearly. Just know your doctor roleplays have been very helpful and I'm very appreciative.
Super grumpy all day today because I've been having issues sleeping lately. As soon as I got the notification that another video was up I smiled at my phone and automatically felt relieved.

Hi heather! Ive been Watching your vids ever since i found out about asmr earlier in the summer. I've never commented before though. You are my favourite asmrtist and i get so excited when you upload! My favourite triggers EVER are ear covering with latex gloves, ear tapping, water marbles, writing and typing, inner ear cleaning and soft speaking, so this video was perfect for me!!! I find that the "ear orientated" videos don't work so well when listened to using in ear headphones, feels like there's a bug trapped in my ear scratching my ear canal, whereas my standard over the top headphones intensify the experience. awesome video, I'm a huge fan :D

hi Heather long time fan first time commenter, I recently broke my leg in an accident playing sports, broke it in 12 different places, I was stuck I'm hospital undergoing 2 surgeries in 2 days to insert 4 plates and 13 screws into my right leg and the only thing that helped me sleep through the pain and the noise and the lights of a busy hospital ward was your videos, even now I'm home from hospital i can't get comfortable enough at night to sleep so I use your videos without them I would have gone insane by now so I just want to say a massive thank you and keep up the excellent work! :)

If you must remove ear wax, you can use your finger or something called an oto-tip. Generally, however, all you need to do is put about a drop of water in your ear and let it drain back out.
+Romaro Vinciguerra I will be doing more of them more frequently. I missed doing them, it was just hard to do them when I was preoccupied with my health in real life. They would stress me out. But now, it's all good! :)
I can't look at that ear model because of my trypophobia :( that being said, the audio is great and very triggering (but in the good way!!) you've done an amazing job and you have a very soothing voice. I will definitely come back to this video!

It's odd how mainly my right ear is sensitive to asmr stimulation but not the left very much. Such a weird but good feeling

I find that the "ear orientated" videos don't work so well when listened to using in ear headphones, feels like there's a bug trapped in my ear scratching my ear canal, whereas my standard over the top headphones intensify the experience. awesome video, I'm a huge fan :D

hi Heather long time fan first time commenter, I recently broke my leg in an accident playing sports, broke it in 12 different places, I was stuck I'm hospital undergoing 2 surgeries in 2 days to insert 4 plates and 13 screws into my right leg and the only thing that helped me sleep through the pain and the noise and the lights of a busy hospital ward was your videos, even now I'm home from hospital i can't get comfortable enough at night to sleep so I use your videos without them I would have gone insane by now so I just want to say a massive thank you and keep up the excellent work! :)

Nothing, earwax is natural. If you need help removing it, seek an ENT doctor.
If you must remove ear wax, you can use your finger or something called an oto-tip. Generally, however, all you need to do is put about a drop of water in your ear and let it drain back out.
