It is commonly called as the Fever of unknown origin or Pyrexia of unknown region which is a type of persistent fever- even after clinical, physical and radiological examinations doesn’t reveal the cause of the disease for a particular period.
    Various infections- uncommon or sometimes common, malignancies, autoimmune disorders, and vasculitis could be presented as fever of unknown origin. It could sometimes become very upheld task to manage the pyrexia.
    History of the patient, persistent physical examination and continual testing can assist in the diagnosis of fever of unknown origin.

    I have chronic fever since I was 13 years old now I am 21, it happens to me like 1/3 months and its so wired :/ , also I have headache and temperature... sometime diarrhea.

    Doc my son age 21 years was perfect but on 2 August he just took bath in rain he got temperatures and he too panadol tab so temperatures go when he take tablets. Now at nite he’s again having high fever but morning bit ok we got malira rest negative typhade negative CRONA negative WC RC OK NOW ITS MORE THAN TWO WEEK . He lost weight doc told less water content in blood non antibiotics improving. Now blood test for some viral infection under way.PLEASE ADVISE WHAT TO DO?

    I am also suffering from fever of unknown origin...what should I do..I have gone through many tests but unable to find the cause it's mostly 99 to 100 it's been 2 years
