Hi there. I know piranhas and their feeding behaviors can seem quite brutal and unsettling, especially for people who are unfamiliar with them. Remember, that predatory fish with predatory actions are their natural habit and diet. Have a good day my friend! ❤️
I hope you do a huge water change after this 😮. I saw a pleco breathing air - so the water quality might not be that good even before they took serious bites.
This is inhumane and sick. The poor shark was still alive and was in pain, you can even see it was screaming in pain. I understand you feed live bait but a big bait to well fed piranha is just sick, almost to a stage of being a social path.

I personally would not feed a tank of piranhas a fresh water shark I would like feed them like batefish that's what I would feed them and keep the freshwater shark in a separate tank and that's what I would feed it to and pluse other things.
I understand your concern, some people prefer to feed piranhas things like batefish "baitfish" which i think what you mean it, which is a valid choice. Feeding piranhas a diet of baitfish is a my common practice and can provide them with the nutrition they need. Ultimately, it's up to each person to do their research and make decisions that they feel are best for their aquarium pets. Considering to sharpen their natural instinct by provide a live fish. Freshwater shark is a catfish species. Not a real shark. Thanks for watching!
Just curious, why did they stop feeding on it after just doing a relatively small amount of damage? Were they all full already? Too much for them to finish all at once?
That's because they're more driven by defending their territory than by hunger. This outcome would never happen in real life since the pyranhas would have kept distance with a healthy fish this size instead, but this forced excess of proximity pushed them to bite as a defensive response to stress. When the fish is half dead it's not seen as a threat anymore.
You must be keeping hundreds of piranhas at home and maybe have already dive in the amazon basin to watch their live pattern! Thanks for giving us something new.
@@piranhasworld your piranhas try to run away from the fish for 12 long minutes in case you didn't notice. Piranhas are opportunistic eaters and generally target injured animals, they don't hunt healthy fishes this size in the wild unless starving to absolue despair.

Dude u don't need to feed them nice and gentle fishes. feed them something which can atlest give the piranhas a competiton like the shark can do nothing feed them feeder fishes which purposefully bred to feed fishes..

@@MarchVision-g3t heres my 4 scenario: 1. While an arapaima is a formidable predator, 30 piranhas working together can overwhelm it with their sheer numbers. The piranhas can attack from multiple angles, increasing the chances of inflicting serious injuries on the arapaima. 2. Piranhas are known for their aggressive feeding behavior, especially when they sense blood in the water or when they encounter a weakened or injured prey. In this scenario, if the arapaima is unable to fend off the initial attacks from the piranhas, it could trigger a feeding frenzy. During a feeding frenzy, the piranhas become highly frenetic and inflict rapid, continuous bites on the prey, causing severe damage. 3. Although arapaimas have protective scales, they still have vulnerable areas, such as the eyes, gills, and undersides. The coordinated attacks from the piranhas can target these weak points, potentially impairing the arapaima's ability to defend itself effectively. 4. Piranhas are generally more agile and maneuverable compared to the larger arapaima. They can dart in and out, making it challenging for the arapaima to defend against multiple attackers simultaneously. But in nature, they up to a hundred or more in one group.
