I put 2 Spintech 6000 because of your videos! Cammed 5.3 Long tubes, x pipe, True dual exhaust out the bedside… Sounds nothing like yours but I loved the old school sound mine has.
I just put 2 of these on my lil 305 with long tubes and a lil cam and they sound way way better than my flowmasters I had. I absolutely love the spintech 6000s
The Spintech 6000’s are my go to for almost every car I build. Customers at first think they’re a tad loud, then it grows on them. Next thing I hear is, those are the best sounding mufflers I’ve ever had. People compliment me everywhere I go… I always say, see I told you so lol.
Based on this truck’s sound, I just wrapped up a rcsb low-budget version of this truck. I just wanted this sound. Ls1, SS2 cam, tbss. Speed engineering headers. 3” to an Amazon X to two spintech 6000s, merged into a 4” single tailpipe over the axle and out behind the wheel. I love the sound, but there’s just too much of it. To clarify, I like it loud when I’m stomping on it. But when it’s hard to talk to a passenger at 10-15% throttle cruise, it’s tiring. How would you suggest I modify my setup to keep the beautiful song, but at a lower volume, without throwing too much more money at it?
I’ve noticed a ton of sound difference through thinner walled metals. I’m not sure how yours is setup. But inside the cab of my truck. It’s actually really quiet in the cab. The noise is directed out of the tailpipes. But in saying that. If you welded in a nice long vibrant resonator like a high flow cat. It would keep the muffler sound and cut the decibels way down.
@@junesmotorworx I’ve done quite a few very similar and they drone far less than magnaflow and borla. Tubing diameter and outlet make a huge difference.
I'd like to hear 2 Spintech's in tandom in-line on a small block chevy. I'm considering 2 for my 87 Vette to eliminate the cat.... sort of like a duel inline resonator on the stock single center pipe.🤔

Lol It's open headers loud !
