This tune is my new obsession. Side two of Heaven Born is just outrageous. So is side one! It truly is the perfect album between On Land and Sing to God, sort of fusing and hinting at the unique styles of both. Timmy!
Lyrics marked with the asterisks are the official lyrics, but there's no way that they are what ended up in this final recording. Can't quite make out what is being sung in their place. Also, not sure what Tim says at the very end... something about lies or lying again it sounds like.
Thankfully, I never found any source that tells what exactly is happening at 3:20, so I can keep hearing it as "mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew mew"

I can't remember where I read it, maybe an interview with Kavus, but Heaven Born and Ever Bright was Tim's personal favourite Cardiacs album!

Dave - it sounds like "Its a big lie!" Which makes sense of following 'not really'....
Possibly?

Rizla is the best choice for wing fixing.
