  • This video covers Part 2 of elbow complex biomechanics. Here we discuss the ligaments of the elbow complex and their biomechanical role and function. The elbow joint is a modified hinge joint and hence have collateral ligaments. The collateral ligaments are namely:
    1. The Medial Collateral Ligament or Ulnar Collateral Ligament - Which in turn is composed of an anterior, posterior and transverse bundle or parts.
    2. The Lateral Collateral Ligament Complex- Which in turn is made of three separate ligaments namely- The lateral radial collateral ligament, the lateral ulnar collateral ligament and the annular ligament,

I have been watching your videos for the last few weeks and it's brilliant. You have great skills and knowledge. However, I just want to point out that the videos you did with a whiteboard and real human skeletal were many times more helpful. The big difference is I was engaged and enjoyed the process of learning when you had the whiteboard and the bones to demonstrate compared to just verbal lectures. I also believe that's what made your teaching more effective and attracted more viewers like myself..... Just a thought... Thank you so much for these wonderful lectures. You are amazing!
