Had the fast track been given to any civilian contractors imagine what would have happened. People think that a small undertaking which really is not. One thing for sure that no any entity back then had and even today has such a huge level of expertise to manage that giant enterprise let alone coming to today’s situation ( 31 percent progress).
It is minimum 5-6 kharba project for international firms, everybody should thank NA it is taking pain in the neck just to make the government happy- a gesture of loyalty, and NA had options to say no to that proposition also.
See the requirement of managerial skills, international advisory team, contracts of 13 packages, liaisons with locals and stake holders, plantation. And imagine level of beurocratic hurdles one needs to overcome to get the contract signed and definitely a number of underhands an obvious drama.
SABAI ROILO BHANEKO BHRASTACHARI HUDAR HARU KO JHUNDA YO THEKDAR HARU LE GAREKA HUN. ARMY LE LIYE PACHHI AFNO PRAVU HARU KO TATHASTU LE PANI KAAM NAGARNE BHAYO BHANERA- SINO KHANA NAPAYERA HO.

Fact of the matter is there is no body in the parliament, who has knowledge of defense… look at the situation how frequently MPs are changing. The guy who is gossiping in a chiya pasal today happens to become defense minister tomorrow and what can one expect on deliveries of any defense related policies from such a person who cant make heads or tails.
Next thing when it comes to running of schools and hospitals… no leaders in the world are such ignorant, that i assume, to undermine the fact that, the responsibility to take care of soldiers family, to treat the soldiers and to educate their children, is solely of the government, who says it is my army. And that we all know the inside out of nepal Government and its capacity. We can easily make out the extent of facilities they are capable of providing to the concerned.
So whats the harm if army itself is committed for health and education of its staff and their relatives, when government is backing out from its core responsibility. Let army continue it. If they have gas station they are contributing a bit to their schools if they have canteens they are contributing to their hospital…WHY HUE AND CRY.
