Tornado Damage in North Clarksville, multiple fatalities - Clarksville, TN (12/9/23)

UPDATE: Montgomery County Government Communications Director Michelle Newell has confirmed that three people are dead, two adults and a child. There has also been 23 people that have been treated for injuries. Search and rescue efforts are still underway and these numbers might change.
The following places have been set up as shelters:

⚠️12/9/23: Deadly Tornado Touchdown⚠️
Clarksville, Tenn. - A deadly tornado ripped through North Clarksville this afternoon. The tornado first touched down near the Garretsburg Road area and then headed northeast at about 45 miles per hour. The tornado went through Fort Campbell Boulevard near Ringgold Road. Then it moved through the West Creek Area near the school complex. It continued onto Tiny Town Road near Man O War Boulevard. The tornado then went into Todd County, Kentucky.
EMA Director Ed Baggett confirmed multiple fatalities in the Garretsburg Road area. It is not known at this time how many fatalities and injuries there are in total. More information will be released later after assessing the areas. City officials are asking everyone to stay indoors to allow first responders to work the devastated area.

Why do they still build houses from matchsticks in tornado areas? Never understood that. All houses should be brick built with cellars you can use to shelter from such tragedies.
