- In this series I will compare using a Lee Loader and a single stage press to load some hunting ammo.
This is an entry level series aimed and those considering getting into reloading. I cover what is included in each kit and what additional items you may what to have.
You can find most of these items on our website here:

Ammo made with a Lee loader held a 1000 yd record for 7 years. You can make quality ammo with these loaders. Even with everything I have I still use one now and then. Good video.
I just ended up with a 22 hornet, 223, 303 British, and 243 lee loader. Have both vintage 10 gauge versions. Been reloading or decades and just started getting into them. They are fun to mess around and play with. Great for bug out kit!
Very helpful information well presented. I'm on board.
Very helpful!
The Lee Classic Loader is so cheap a way of making rounds, that it should not be what any experienced re-loader should be recommending for newbies to use. That is basically a hail-Marry way of reloading while the world is coming to an end. Yes it would had been a decent way for Neanderthals to reload, yet in this day and time it is really lacking big time in it's abilities to make a decent round. So my advise to any new re-loader is to not waste your money on a Lee Classic re-loader kit. Buy decent tools that will not need up grading as any tool that will not be a lifetime tool is a waste of money, and a pain to use until one finally decides to get a decent version. Buy once cry once, as opposed to every time you use a cheap tool.
Lee loaders work very well for strait walled cartridges and can yield very consistent ammo believe it or not. Much like other Lee equipment, the price is low and the value is high
@@TheCodyO I have three (45 Auto, 45 Colt, and 45_70 Government) and it is impossible to yield a consistent crimp and and even more so to be able to know when primers are seated correctly.
If you didn't like the first one why buy the other2?
@@scottpatterson6863 I had bought all three at one time. My bad.
@@thetexasrat so they ant no good?
