Chinese Railways - DF Diesel Start Up at Yuexi! Very Rare Footage of Vintage Locomotive in Sichuan

At the time of my first visit to Yuexi cement factory, a single DF class diesel from 1970 was being used to transfer wagons between the factory and the mainline at Yuexi. This was one of two DF's left and the only Dalian built machine. Since then they have acquired a DF5 diesel which does most of the work. The DF worked every second day on average and I was very lucky to see it in operation including the always dramatic start up sequence!
