They all sound almost the same. The yellow Dod to my ears has the most bass, but less gain and output out of the four pedals. The Fender YJM overdrive and the Dod yjm308 sound the same to my ears. They both have the least amount of bass, but have higher gain and more treble. The grey one sound the best to me. It has the same gain that the Dod yjm308 and the Fender YJM Overdrive have, but without the bass being cut too much.
These four pedals will get you that Neoclassical sound that Yngwie Malmsteen is known for. Dod grey is the most expensive at $700‐$800+. Fender YJM are the second most expensive at around $250-$300. Dod yjm308 are priced at $150. The Old yellow Dod 250 around $150+ and a reissue is $109 new. Cheap alternative for a dod grey is Chicago stompworks grey speck pedal. They're cheap, but they only deliver here in America.
To my ears the grey box and fender retain that bite and sound less compressed than the 308 and reissue. Not better, just different. Different horses for different courses as they say.

Yup I have the yellow one with the LED and it’ sounds the worst amongst this comparison. Good demo thanks.
But this is a test on retro speakers, and the yellow DOD250 performs well on speakers with distortion, providing a boost effect
Red more hot , green more argonic, black in between , yellow need more amp gain.
