was just thinking about some of my old animations I made in probably 2007 or so and decided to see if pivot was still around. started using it back in probably 2006 after some school friends showed me it. very glad to see that you are still working on this great software and that this generation of kids are still learning animation and creating fun with this. I have so many good memories of making animations with friends, showing family my funny animations, adding my animations to my myspace and gaia online profiles, and going on stickpage and watching others animations. your software had a big impact on my childhood. looks like you have really added a lot of amazing features over the years, lol I wish I had them when I was a kid. bless

Enjoying the new update so far. Though I do have some suggestions for the next version if you don't mind. Being able to import audio files to help sync the animation to the audio would be great and maybe being able to stretch imported sprites would be neat.

This update completely changed Pivot Animator for the good, the ability of text and zoom, alongside being able to color different segments of a single figure are the biggest changes for me. Thank you so, so much for this Peter. Truly, your software has been a major part of my life.

I started using Pivot back in middle school in 2006, fast forward to today and even though I don't use it all that often anymore, the inspiration it gave me set me on a career path that has led me to EMMY Awards, ADDY Awards, and working on films and music videos. Amazing to see it getting updates and I'd love to take what I've learned in my career and re-apply it back with this new version
Dude. Haven't touched your stuff for years. But this is game changing for stick animation right here. Yeah I know there's adobe animate, but that's expensive. But having the new inbetweens and the extensive zoom feature is just *french kiss*, dude. And the bend is just beautiful. No more janky bends or having to make figures with like 10 spine points. Only thing I'd add was a live preview highlighting the frame as you preview the animation. Makes it easier to spot when tweaking small adjustments. Good job here.
Seeing this happening only a year ago after not having touched pivot in over a decade. My heart is so warm right now. I actually can’t believe it. I might get pivot again and make animations to go along with my own music! 🥹

Honestly, I have been using version 5 for a while and seeing this introduction, I see that the virtual camera isnt rocket science to use. THANK YOU PETER BONE FOR MAKING THOS SOFTWARE! it taught me how to animate. 10/10
An incredible job, the V cam is crazy and it was very necessary for those of us who used flash8, a layer system would be a luxury. Excellent work keep it up!
