I can't stop smiling. He was amazing. I am angry at my parents that I was born so late. Unfortunately, I've never seen him live. Watching this on YT I am delighted ... it had to happen at concerts.
JAMIEL THE DAY I MET MICHAEL JACKSON! I envy you and congratulate you so much. It had to be a wonderful experience. I would give away all my savings so that I could be at the concert for once 🤩
And this is why I am a fan of Michael Jackson!!! and honestly... this wasn't close to debut solo album:P (the performance of course that is, this was from thriller) but at the bad time
I love to see someone else find so much joy in watching MJ perform. His music and performances have always just given me a sense of peace and happiness. Even Thriller
And that!, those days, is why he was and always will be, the King of Pop. These were his high days, eventho he had several massive hits in the years after, this is when he was at his very best, his most energetic and at his creative peak i feel. The man changed the game on what it meant, to be a pop star, from his early successes with the Jackson's to his late successes right before his untimely death. He always stayed relevant, a staple of pop music, and somewhat of a mythical figure as well. His contribution to modern music, will be everlasting.
@j0hnn13K Everything you said, the voice teacher said and tons more can be said about this "Genius". I can't help but smile from ear-to-ear (as Valerie White Williams couldn't stop herself from doing, also) when I watch him perform that song and all the songs from that DVD/concert in 1988, London. When I bought that DVD boxset, I was thrilled that I could get those electric feelings you get just oooing and awwwing with each thing he does. I'm always amazed at how SPECIAL the experience is every time, no matter how many times I watch him. I can't get enough of how much he just oozes pure sexuality with his dance moves...that's "heterosexual" sexuality because a real woman knows these things, I know, I'm a real woman and I love every minute of it. I miss him so much and will never replace him with anyone else as a performer on stage. As a person, a man, he was generous with his heart in his giving to charities and he was so "BLESSED" yet never took it for granted. He always stated that "God" was front and center in his creativity, skill and ability to be wonderful in everything that he put together to show to his fans/the world and the competition (of which he didn't really have much) each time he stepped one foot and then the other onto a stage. I can never say goodbye to him. MJ=LOVE+PEACE+PASSION
Michael basically PIONEERED the Music Video, turning what was once bland into super-quality Hollywood-like productions; he MADE MTV what it was and blew everyone away with all he did!

M. J. This is the rarest manifestation of human genius! Time magazine as the have observed: There is Michael Jackson and there is all the rest. His name has long been a household name, what can I say... if he is king!!!
The joy on your face is evident. Its lovely to watch! He is the epitome of pure entertainment. I truly believe that as the years go by, he’ll only become more and more loved and appreciated. Gone too soon. 😔
Even 50 years of MJ and his foot work and how light and powerful he is in his feet is incredible. He would have been a great martial artist. Damn 5:37-5:42
I saw him Live in Europe back in 1988. He was awesome. In fact I saw him right around the time he performed here in Wembley. He performed in Germany on the 2nd of July, this show was some days after. Plus Princess Diana was in this show ,he wanted the Royal Family to get the best.
Michael was the ultimate performer he had everything in one that many artists don't have. He truly was a musical and dancing blessing I miss him just being here.
CHeck out Man in the Mirror 1988 at the grammy's! (he was a bit mad there about how the Grammy's kinda took away his change to get the awards he deserved (long story!)

Great commentary. His great big album was Thriller 1982, but he didn't do a solo tour for that album. However, he did the Victory tour in 1984, with his brothers. Wanna be startin somethin was on the Thrillee album. He wrote this song for his sister Latoya, who was having a bad experience with her sisters-in-laws, but decided to use it. This is written with her in mind. Michael's footwork is heavily influenced by James Brown as we can see in this video.
Thank you so much for this! Could you please react to his performances where he concentrates more on vocals like I just can’t stop loving you 1987 Yokohama or She’s out of my life
