the one for cinderellas design is actually really clever, the reason why its pink, even if its on the wrong shade, is because its the DRESS before the fairy god mother made it brand new, the one where its thorned apart by her step sister and its also shown after the scene where cinderella is running down the stairs because of the clock striking twelve. love how they put in so much thought process to characters
it also replecates the original pink dress from the actual movie, its just my opinion but i think that explains why its pink if anything(deserves S tier)

Disagree about dolls representing different countries Lalaloopsy characters are as stereotypical as possible (if the character loves to sleep, then he will be wearing pajamas. If the character is a magician, mime or performs in a circus, then his image will correspond to this) And it's not bad! Recognition is good, within the world of lalalupsy it is a good cultural representation

dyna might was the first doll I got along with her little sister Tiny who I renamed Demonica and Tina, I had plans for what I wanted to do if I got other dolls, sadly I never did plus my dolls who are missing most of their accessories and probably pets went to goodwill last year because we had to sell the house and move out, even my ag dolls went to goodwill they could've been worth alot of money even though my historical doll had jacked up hair and was missing accessories

Confetti Carnival's pet cat is a much darker pink in other pictures. The story of the wizard of OZ is public domain. The movie where she has red slippers is still copyrighted. In the book she has silver shoes so I am not sure why they didn't just give her silver shoes. Goldie Luxe is supposed to be a play on the words gold and deluxe. There is already a goldilocks themed doll called Curls 'N' Locks. She did not get a large doll. Ocean Seabreeze does have a pet it is just not shown in that picture. All of the bubbly mermaid dolls come with bubbles. The gimmick is that you pour the bubbles into their head and squeeze the tail and that produces bubbles. I would love if you made a tier list of other lalaloopsy dolls such as the little sisters, the minis, or the Lala-oopsies.

this was such a fun video! As a former animation student who also studied character design all of your points, especially about the color tying into the outfit, was spot on. I noticed the ones you liked a lot also had strong silhouettes which is essential in character design. If you aren't too wiped out from all the loopsy I'd love to see you rank all the minis! I don't think anyone has made a list unfortunately but I'm such a huge fan of all of their designs I'd just love you to talk about more of them (Also thank you for putting my homegirl Suzette La Sweet in S where she belongs queen we stan)

I just want to say how much I truly apreciate this video, watching nostalgic things from my childhood is my new coping mechanism but finding content on this can be very difficult especially anything of quality. I've watched this video over a dozen times and will continue to use it to sooth my anxiety. As a artist who got into this as a kid because I enjoyed the art it's nice to hear actual serious conversations on this line 🫀
