    how did they achieve that cartoonish look? Was that all hand drawn or an effect?

      @@valorant.mp4413 3D renders with 2D effects but textures that give it more of a 2D look.

      Not hand drawn for the characters but looks like 2D effects

    the fact that everyone mainly says oh i dont have time for video games anymore even when they are in the game industry is very very depressing

    • @jeandenishaas
      @jeandenishaas  3 роки тому

      I’m not in the games industry, I animate for vfx movies, so my focus is there but I’ve played videos since Pong, so it’s a passion I’m not letting go. I do still play VR games on a more regular basis.

    Does anyone know if it is possible to make animations that look like this alone? How are they given that look, like not entirely 3d, sort of 2d.

    • @jeandenishaas
      @jeandenishaas  3 роки тому

      Blender would probably be a good option since you can do cool renders in it and shader work, plus grease pencil which would help with the 2D effects.

    What style is this? Is this 3d or 2d (like anime is produced by drawing every frame)?

      @@jeandenishaas personal accents are important... Without it character become lackluster.. don't you think an eye roll would have sold his impatient mood, shrinking the pupil would show some despair, or a slight eyebrow twitch to show focus and annoyance?

    • @jeandenishaas
      @jeandenishaas  3 роки тому

      @fantasytraveler Yeah accents are neat, but who knows what goes on behind the scenes, maybe they had it in there, needed to make changes, or wanted to focus on something else, maybe also tailored towards feedback and target audience etc. etc.
