About Bakugan: Champions of Vestoia
Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia is an all-new action role-playing game with an original story that expands on the hit TV series and brings the Bakugan universe to the Nintendo Switch for the very first time. Who here remembers Omega Leonidas🔥🌪 Battle Brawlers was so tough. This game looks way too simple, is all that’s to it you run around picking up the hexes? Wheres the difficulty?
Dont get me started on the doom dimension field without Darkus leo. That was and still is hell.
@Master DA I'm doing a playthrough with haos Leo rn. Was grinding BP with Akira, and now Leo's LV7 before even the battle royale tournament.
It requires strategy, and fights are not one sided. Remember when we would dominate because the AI was intentionally designed to not be perfect even on Hard, so doing a Level 3 Power or Shooting battle was effectively you winning instantly?
I played through the original game, and the only losses I had, were because I did Tag Team Tournament, and it was because I landed on Dan's gate card which was where the first Bakugan landed got a buff. And it was a bronze gate card, meaning Level 2 Power Battle, which the enemy cheated at. THE ONLY TIMES I LOST WAS BECAUSE OF MY TEAMMATE! It got to the point where I absolutely decimated Marduk and Vladitor in the final battle first try. Difficult my ass, horrible AI is what it is.
This game? Actually fair on both sides. And this game is not as simple as you'd think. There's buffs you can place on your bakugan, you can upgrade some of those buffs with a supportive move, you can cleanse a buff/debuff from yourself, you can lower their power. The original was so unoriginal, whether it was where in the anime it was whoever had the last ability card used, or whoever used a Level 2 Battlegear ability, where in the game it was if you got a level 1 battle or a level 3 power, and if you got a level 2 power battle it was rigged, and level 3 timing was difficult but not rigged. In the reboot anime, battles are not instantly decided because of plot armour and the fact that the brawler is a good guy, battles are decided by whoever has the stronger bond, which may I remind you, is exactly what the original Bakugan was intended to be about! The bonds we made with our Bakugan! How many of us created a bond with Leo, go on, tell everyone! Admit it, we ALL loved Leo! That bond is why we love him! And to top it off, strategy is how you win this game. Which is Bakugan at its most central core! That's why people loved the original Battle Brawlers season! How do you combine the greatest aspects of a series? You don't. But they did with the reboot.
This game may look simple, but it is not. Darkus sacrifice health to buff themselves, Pyrus attack super hard and fast, Ventus evade and endure the enemy, Aquos strategise. You can either whittle them down over time, or you can hit them hard and fast by empowering all your Bakugan for a team attack that gets a one hit kill on that Bakugan.
Like I basically said, the game combines strategy with action. Instead of us just kicking ass by making a Bakugan be nearly 2000 power and be essentially unbeatable, we actually have to earn our victories! How is that not exciting?

Cause I personally had more problems with the Tag Team Tournament and my teammate than I ever had issues with anything else.

i like Bakugan too i watch all the Seasons years ago and i already watch all episodes of the reboot for now hope for the next season and i oh so play the games on the Xbox 360 and Ds but anyway you people are lucky playing the new Bakugan game but i can customize my kid Character better that ugly custom characters

I mean...I wonder if they’ll make him now as an actual toy? Probably not cause they didn’t with the OG games, but if they do I’ll be slightly pissed. In terms of design, it is a fair representation of the original, just looks like it’s been battle planet-fied. Still prefer his OG look but that probably makes me old fashioned😅.

I love Leo as a kid, I’m the original I remember him being my partner and I mained Darkus with my boy. Honestly I don’t like, you get him at the end of the game I would’ve preferred maybe after the first mission so you can really play with him.
I would have liked it if he was the bakugan that fell near us at the start of the game

I've never been able to try a Bakugan videogames but I used to love the toys and play with them as much as my Medabots, Bayblades, Zoids, Duel Masters, Battle B-Daman, my Yu-Gi-Oh cards and even more, so great memories.
Diamond Cycloid, Diamond Pharol and Leonidas were brought to battle.
Love your switch videos, got and religiously played animal crossing after it came out because I saw you playing it and it looked super fun. Also used some of your Pokémon switch game videos for help figuring out my Pokémon games (Let’s go Eevee and Pokémon Sword)

I'm sort of glad they made my boy a golden bakugan at least that shows he is powerful but I still like the doom Leonidas it made you feel so special that not only you have a bakugan never before seen but he also is the first of his kind basically here I don't know and you don't start with him instead you wait to the damn end to get him but hey we got him at the very least

Not the true Leonidas but still probably enough of being him. Played both the 3DS and PS3 Variant of Bakugan. (PS3 is also the same version as the Wii one with a slight variant in mini games)

Who did you choose as your first Bakugan partner? I choose Pegatrix. I am a huge Fire emblem fan and Pegasus knights have always been one of my favorite classes. That's why I choose her. I only had the game for a day, I became very fond of her.
Everyone has their opinions on which starter is the best but I am glad that I choose Pegatrix. I don't know if it will be a challenge however I will gladly take it. I can learn from it. I am very happy with her.
