I will contribute a piece of information: Fullmoon Lullaby was the last song sung by KOM_i under the name of Wednesday Campanella, shortly after in that year she would leave the group after 9 years. For me, as a fan of Wednesday Campanella that song is like a farewell, a beautiful and painful farewell, I'm glad it was with Porter.
This is so wild hearing these songs for the first time. It's like the DLC to the video game world that Porter has painted, or like the trailer to the upcoming game

Same thing happened to Rina Sawayama. She basically explained that Japanese distributors often want an exclusive song or they won't release the project in the country. The song will never release anywhere else, it's tied.

I've revisited this video just to confirm that "a sound for lonely people" is confirmed to be a Porter Robinson song included as part of Hollowheart's melody. It's a surreal moment and giving me high hopes that some of the songs might get a release as well in a new form 🎉❤

Worlds is my favorite era of Porter. Favorite album ever. It is the only album that I can listen to start to finish without skips, over and over again. It is so beautifully tragic yet hopeful. Nothing has come close to hitting me in the feels like that since. Hearing Song for You, OSTTT, and Fullmoon Lullaby only reminds me of Worlds and makes me sad that I never got to see his full Worlds set live. Probably would've cried.

I used to love all the songs in this collection (But it's my first time hearing Fullmoon L.) and wonder why Porter never released these. Now I understand-if MY crappy old tracks were yoinked from under the table and put on display for all to see, I'd hate it too. Sad to hear of Song for You and A Sound for Lonely People's legitimacy though, both for Porter and VDG. Maybe I'll check out VDG's other tracks if I liked those two so much. At first when this video was being recommended to me, I was like why is someone even doing this, after all this time (since there's already a video on YT which also had the leaked pack folder in their link, plus it's been long since it happened), and I just somehow clicked the vid, was greeted by Harborside (my beloved) with those stunning visuals which added to the song's vibe a looot, also in a different way from how I always envisioned the imagery in my mind.. Well, people always have varied opinions and notions about these bunch of pieces, lot of them advise people to not talk much about it and to not spread the word about it much to other people.. And I can only agree with them about it, because of all the valid reasons, but I also think that these bits of music are other worldly and between a "listen if it's released" and "don't if it's not released in your life at all", this makes these amazing pieces available to the people.. Because imo, everyone deserves to listen to this greatness.. So yepp, thanks for this!! :))

There are some fakes though, which most of these are. Wish You Would Stay is “Lost” by Shelter (SoundCloud), Praise For That is a sample pack song (or fanmade. Original metadata name was “Porteon”, which was a fanmade name for Porter and Madeon together) and Harborside is still unconfirmed if it’s real or not.
@@SpitfireTheWolf he revealed it over DMs with a fan! It sounds a little far fetched but they’re a well known member of the Madeon discord, and most of us contact Madeon frequently so it’s completely verifiable!
@@SpitfireTheWolf the leaks folder contains this mp3 called "porter_calls" where you can apparently hear porter (?) asking for a feedback of 2/3 songs, and what i can hear are 'chillwave thing' and 'harborside'. and chillwave has this guitar and snare that you can find in "sample magic - chillwave", the same library that contains some samples of 'flicker'
sorry to say but "song for you" and "a sound for lonely people" are fake. they were made by my friend and included in the 2017 leak. "a sound for lonely people" is the piano version of "song for you".
@@chstnmusic They we made by VDG. VDG personally took responsibility for these songs and many others that were part of the 2017 leaks. This is common knowledge in the Porter Robinson community though, so please do research before posting fake leaks.
@tomokaooo I wasn't aware of claims over the works, as it was not claimed in the description of the original video I used to make this video. I am in no way trying to spread false leaks. However, the poster of the video, XDX Music, claims in the comments, "Sound for lonely people and it's sister song 'Song for You' ended up being used by Porter's during his official performance on Second Sky, so many have speculated those to be the real ones as they where leaked before that performance. As for sampling, people extract and make samples of common songs all the time so the sample pack would have to have been released before 2017/2013." I'll add a note in the description of my video saying that they are potentially made by VDG. However, since these videos have been posted and uncorrected for 4 years do I stay a little skeptical of both claims. I don't have any connections with VDG or Porter Robinson so obviously it's hard to discern the credibility. It's best to approach XDX Music with that information. However I can say with certainty that I am not trying to deceive people in any way and have found that the credibility of the 2017 leaks is well beyond common knowledge as it is still being argued about to this day.

He also went on to say that it does frustrate him a little bit when records or whoever leak unfinished songs because it's a little unfair to take someone's work and show it to the world when they only made it halfway through their creation process. It's a bit more nuanced in the stream I might not be remembering 100% correctly but if you enjoy porter and have time to watch it he drops a lot of nice little nuggets of introspection throughout.
