    To help you get even better grades I’ve written a lot of e-books, packed full of loads of excellent questions to help you study. Because the best thing you can do is practice. Visit my website for e-books, flashcards and extension questions www.primrosekitten.com

    The 'whole of the topic in … minutes' videos DO NOT comprehensively cover everything you need to know for your exams. It would be impossible to include 2 years of teaching in 1 hour. These should NOT be your only source of revision • Do the 'whole topic in... My exam predictions are just GUESSES!! I don't have any insider knowledge just years of looking at exam papers.
    Disclaimer; You should not carry out any of these practical’s without carrying out a full risk assessment of your own first.

    Easy questions at 00:47 Medium at 09:14 Hard at 18:50 You can try all the questions at the beginning of the video and then watch the explanation to check if you have the correct answer. Try a few at each level and you can jump ahead or go back to other questions. The first question of each section has some added explanation to help you with the problems.

    hi ive just finished year 11 and i want to be ready for alevel maths, how comes you take away 1 from the power at the beginning?

    • @sashaflack9424
      @sashaflack9424 2 роки тому +2

      also why do you get rid of the +h at the end

    • @sashaflack9424
      @sashaflack9424 2 роки тому +2

      and why is there an x^2 on the y axis

    The explanation of n (for non zero n) to the power of 0 equals 1 is not very good at all. I think there are 2 better ways of doing it
    1. Add a "1 times" in front - so 2 squared is 1 x 2 x 2 and so on. There for anything to the power 0 is 1
    2. An earlier video already talks about indices, use that to show anything to power 0 is 1
    A further note, the explanation for the differentiation rule is more confusing than necessary. Best start with
    1. -- f(ax) = a*f(x)
    2. -- f'(ax) = a*f'(x)
    From this, the rule (in this video) becomes much clearer.
