Hi Claire, one question on the propagation liquid. What I am wondering about the color of the water. All of your pictures show nice clear water yet the liquid makes my water pretty dark. I am worried about being able to tell if I need to change the water.
What do you suggest I do to properly keep an eye on the water?

I'll keep my question short but sweet. I live in Vancouver, Bc and I'm wondering if the winter sun is ok on my fiddle leaf for a few hours. He's an indoor plant and I move him to another room in the winter so he gets more light. What do you think? Thanks
Hi Armstrong, thank you for watching and for your question! The more light the better for these plants! If your plant has not had direct sunlight exposure, I would use a sheer curtain to turn that direct sunlight into indirect bright light. Otherwise, the plant can burn quickly in direct sunlight. @@FiddleLeafFigPlant it is so cold out now and will be till may'ish the sun offers no heat through the window. It's sunlight with out warmth. I can see a hot sun hurting a plant like it burns us, but the rays are week now in the northern hemisphere...
How often should I use the root supplement when I see an issue? Every time I water? Once a month?
It can be used every 2-4 weeks and it is safe to use in conjunction with our Fiddle Leaf Fig Plant Food as well.
