- I'm starting an MA Music at university as a mature student. I hadn't even been in to see my university before starting, so today is an exciting day for me, as I'll be seeing where I'll be studying for the next two years. I start properly tomorrow, but today I'm going in for a brief interview with a view to getting some extra-curricula training to learn sound engineering.

I'm so excited for you!! I went back to uni as a mature student and I enjoyed it in such a different way from when I was young. I found that I grasped things so much easier and found that the work and the studying was so much more interesting. I think the difference was that I wasn't distracted by my social life & cute boys🤣🤣

Have the best time in Uni, Imo! I started my first degree when I was 40. You'll be surprised at how many 'mature' students you meet. Having said that, some of my best friends there were young students! Pob lwc! ❤

All the best with your MA. I sometimes send a file to my Kindle which can read it to me direct or via Alexa. I am MSc student. Office 365 is great for being able to work on things across devices.

I agree that as we age, the younger ones look even younger. Too bad that you'll have to be taking the bus.. hopefully that doesn't last for long. I'd be so intimidated going to a university and seeing so many young ones, and not knowing my way around. Am too told for that now.. haha
I’m a 19 year old who has started college, Due to Leykemia when I was 15, I had to skip a year at school, I feel old looking at the 16 year olds in the same class

Put your rice cake thingy’s in a zip lock bag they will keep fresher longer. You keep talking about doing a lot of things online isn’t it a shame that you can’t do things in person anymore, I bought theatre tickets online because no box office but don’t have a printer don’t know what I’m going to do. Take me back to the 90’s early 2000’s everything was people and paper 😂
