15:09 I watch 'Bigger' 2-3 times a year, and have it fully memorized. Lin just BLEW my mind and got me choked up. I had _never_ clued in to the double significance of that line ❤

Of all the years I've been on YT this is the first and only ad (basically) I've watched start to finish. Two of my favorite artists speaking about art and life....❤
Thanks for this wonderful interview. But its never enough (never, never...😉) we need more and longer episodes with lin manuel miranda because i couldn't get enough of him. But for now I'll be waiting for mufasa's release for the longer episode please make that happen please 🥺
You know, I watch a lot of interviews, and I’ve realized that the art of interviewing has become lost. My theory is that a lot of interviewers today, especially if that is what they do for a living, are trying to be a personality themselves and it detracts from the interview. I can’t even count how many times listening to an interview I hear the host cutting off the guest, or talking over them, and I think “goddamn, you know I came to listen to the guest, I could care less about you as the interviewer”. But in this series it’s the opposite, I’m a big fan of the Roots and of Quest but ironically he’s an amazing interviewer, he knows when to shut up and let the guest talk, he knows when it’s relative to add a story of his own, but they’re short and to the point and he doesn’t make himself the center of attention. I’m so damned impressed by how good he is at this. Just another thing on the list of things that make Quest a legend.
okay i clicked on the video, stop giving me annoying ass ads when i’m tryin to sleep, fuckin 20 minute ADS, anyone that doesn’t drink could give a fuck less about this podcast 😭😭😭
Quest typically is pro woke artists but doesn't ivnest significant time ensuring that black artists get exposure. He's a POC hero but not a true black Hero.
Honestly, I could listen to Lin talking about anything for hours straight. This guy is a walking sunshine ray, so positive and encouraging
Indeed
I've missed Lin's positivity. Thanks for the interview.
His pure genuine passion for the craft always brings me joy and to tears.

This was brilliant. And oof, another reminder of the incredible legacy Sondheim left behind.

Great interview. The whiskey flogging blah blah blah. Just noise.
A 20 minute ad is insane
Best ad I've ever seen

why did I just get an ad of this whole video sped up by like 20x 💀
found out it was only sped up because my UA-cam was bugging
