in 1984,bruce allen, stu hart and don owens tri produced a card at the pne agridome. it sold out 5200. the main event was a cage match between bad news allen and the dynamite kid. i forgpt who was bad news second but the kids second was rip oliver. he was always a hated rulebreaker in van. the match started and the kid had bad news reelin and a rockin. after much blood was spilt rip handed bad news a chain and the kid got destroyed. playboy fought rip on a big screen from portland.

Owner Don Owen and corrupt referee Sandy Barr conspire to end the career of Playboy Buddy Rose by forcing an obviously injured Rose into a match. How dare they!!! But Playboy Buddy Rose is a real man, and he easily handles Jay Youngblood on his own and by himself. Intelligent, good looking wrestling fans don't give a rat's ass how bad Jay Youngblood is hurt. He needed a lesson, and Playboy Buddy Rose gave it to him in spades. Real wrestling fans only care about Playboy Buddy Rose's condition and condemn Moondog Mayne for his uncalled for and unprofessional attack on Playboy Buddy Rose after the match.

Jay was very young here as I mentioned before. He was a great wrestler who hid his pain that eventually killed him. The destroyer who was buddy roses friend was devastated by Jays death. He said so himself. He visited Jay when he was in a coma in Australia. He said it was the hardest thing he evet did. Buddy Rose died rather young himself probably from carrying all that extra weight when he knew he was a diabetic. He was no Terry Funk either. He was just plain annoying.
Speaking of physiques, Rose looked worse than Adrian Adonis. In no way does he compare to Dusty. Dusty was a legend. JAY passed much to soon. He was a great wrestler and would have been much better like his Dad, Ricky Romero. I know wrestling is scripted but Rose was just another fat guy.
Ohh i sooo remember the Youngblood brothers...Im more from the time of Mark and Chris than Jay....I usedf to go to the events just when they were wrestling...they were soo envious of Jay (of all Natives that is)same thing happened to Wahoo Mc Daniel...RIP handsome Jay ❤❤
