Good morning Shaun! So glad to hear that the mini 3 pro survived its few days with nature. DJI equipment is nearly bulletproof. See you in the next one soooooooooooon 👍👍👍👍👍
I didn't realize you lost your drone, but I'm glad you were able to recover, with the help of the rescue squad. And even more amazing was that were able to bring back to life again, and continue flying. Another great drone adventure, thanks for sharing Shaun.
Hey Shawn, happy to see you reunited with your little friend! I was trying to tell you in comments from day one that you had a box pop up the moment you drew the POI box "Obstacle Avoidance Unavailable in Current Mode" And the answer is YES- It definitely positively might (or might not") have made a difference! 🤔
Congrats! I once sent the Mavic 3 pro into a tree top and it only lost a prop. Shaun! Sober up! The DJI Mini 3 pro has not side looking OA! Flying sideways the forward looking O A is out of the game anyway. Your very spontane and that's good but please prepare both the flight and Yourself one step more. Know what drone You're flying! They are different.... Learning.... Today I was notified that I had filmed a person that should not appear on YT. Urgent editing and notifying the notifyer... Didn't ask "everybody" for permission....
Thank you Stefan, always a learning curb when flying drones, not everyday you get it correct. Good old UA-cam, let you know when someone does not wont to be on video, not easy to ask people you see
Thank you Wayne, yes glad it was rescued when it did as the rest of the week we've had heavy rain, even yesterday. I'm a happy man it's back and working
agree, even if obstacle avoidance was active it was still going to get the tree cos the thing was orbiting sideways & mini3 as you state has no side sensors anyway.
lol glad to hear it’s back to normal, man. I was surprised you didn’t have any problems considering it say out in the rain, eh? I wonder if a holy stone would’ve survived. Lol
Yesterday i realise that my mini 4 pro after update ignore my RTH settings set to 80m and comeback on lower altitude. i had to click on optimal and again on pre set to 80m to fix this.
Great news, I won't be able to fly the DJI Mini 2 as I can't update the control system, so it's looking like the world of Drones is gone for me, I won't be renewing my license, no point If I can't fly the drone
I know the mini 3 pro has no side sensors, I can see no reason why DJI think they should be turned off..!, yes no side sensitivity but surely it would help if something came in to view either in front or behind as the sensors surely are not tunnel vision .Maybe all us mini 3 pro owners should ask DJI Directly why the are turned off.😳🤔
@@fendrou This thesis is not entirely true. The angle of the front sensors is 106 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically, while the rear ones are 58 degrees horizontally and 73 degrees vertically. The lower sensor forms a cone pointing downwards with an angle of 104.8 degrees. There is a dead zone on the sides, but is it really that big? See the image in the manual.
@@drony2020 peripheral vision is poor. Sometimes frontal vision cannot see objects in front and collides with them (walls with no contrast). Even drones with side vision are prone to crashing when flying sideways. It is not a foolproof system.
Please check out Jackie's video of the rescue mission, so much better than mine ua-cam.com/video/gFarwgL1rKo/v-deo.htmlsi=NLkPl-1GnNXIp50r
Awww thank you Shaun 😍😘

BRILLIANT 🤩 great to see him airborne again 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks to you and Harvey or it could have been up there still now! Saved the day - Happy man

Hi Shaun, so pleased you got it back ,and it all works OK.
How did you do your logo at start of your videos,it's awesome?
Thank you, yes a happy ending. I used fiverr.com to design my logo and my videos - very good and quick
Good to know its up and flying again. Bet your feeling better now then a week ago with it been out in the elements 🌧 😅😁👍
Thank you Wayne, yes glad it was rescued when it did as the rest of the week we've had heavy rain, even yesterday. I'm a happy man it's back and working

How did you not find it if you had VLOS?
Watch the video, I did find it on day one, I just can't climb steep hills

Thank you Kev, to be honest, I thought there might be a problem when flying. I think if the Holy Stone was up there in the rain! it would have shrunk
😂😅😂👍🐈⬛🐾🐝🍻
Ten cuidado por la fecha en que estamos puede ser un !!!DRON ZOMBIE!!!🧟♂🧟♂🧟♂
Afortunadamente sobrevivió al día zombie :)

Because they are useless when side flying 🧑🏼⚖️

Good point Peter, I think they should give a bigger warning sign. Many thanks for watching.
