Built this in 1976. I still have it now, although it does need a rebuild. And yes, everything in a single bag, flash and all, no ID's on the sprues, a classic Revell kit from when kits were fun and raised detail was king!!!
First time seeing this 10 JUNE 2024 ….. This is VINTAGE !!!!! I have Two ( 2 ) REVELL PBY CATALINAS BLACK CAT and a early Pre-War Markings…. I want to do this one with the BRITISH MARKINGS tracking the BISMARCK…. ( did you know an American pilot flew that aircraft ) I’m going to look on €Bay to see if I can find this kit….. The DECALS are worth finding the kit for…. COOL 😎 CHRIS from OHIO 🇺🇸
I built this model back in the early 1980s. It came in a U.S. Navy livery, but I actually painted it as it's seen here, probably because of the Bismark connection. Not a bad kit, but I wish I'd taken the time to scratchbuild an interior, because you can see an awful lot through the waist blisters.

So the sprues are supposed to be in a single bag.. this kit was a challenge back in the day then
The Box Top art on Reveal kits at that time was second to none. Yes, in could indeed frame it. Wish I had.
The vintage revell kits have some lovely box art, I’m definitely going to do something with the box once I’ve constructed to Kit

I will try to save them but if not, the search for the decals begin

Give them a coat of gloss clear and they'll work fine!
Exactly! That is part of it, the fight to save this old model haha
