*HUGE COLLAB!* What are you guys making of 'Accelerate'? 🤔🏎
Did not expect it to go as hard as it did.
Oh….. my god…. That. Was. AWESOME! The sound design of the music was astonishing. The intro has that Mario Kart vibes that feels like you’re about to win on rainbow road, the lead is absolutely clean along with the mixdown in addition to the jazz part. And the drops of the bass especially the flows is out of this world! Second drop definitely sounds like a MrKoolTrix & Dyatic collaboration. Meaning that this song ties MrKoolTrix’s music Echo Circuit. I think that after this song , since Teminite is now back to making his ultimate universal dubstep song that’s evenly match to MrKoolTrix songs this song to me is… nah no problem with that because it’s a Teminite & Skybreak/10. No question.
great track, the non-drop sections are my favorite because it so accurately captures that mario-vibe

I do appreciate when there's care put into every part of a song, even though I disagree, I still really like the non-drops sections of this song
Honestly same, my favourite parts are the sections between the first and second drops
Feels very rare nowadays that we get tracks that truly establish a unique identity and theme, and this track does it to a T.

THIS IS PEAK DUBSTEP!!! So much of the bass music that’s coming out today is so void of soul and life. Brutal yet empty.
Accelerate is what dubstep is all about, heavy, busy, full, lively, doesn’t take itself too seriously, and well mastered.
I'm not lying when I say this is one of my favorite dubstep tracks I've ever heard. So much about it I enjoy

not many tunes out there have quite this much joyful energy pulsating throughout - can imagine skybreak and teminite having such a fun time producing this, truly blessed to have them in the scene!
I can only imagine the groove they got into while performing the solo. I’m dancing in my seat, I wonder what it looked like at the keyboard.
Really impressive track! I think that the midsection is so incredible that the drop(Though great in its heaviness and structure)seems a little overshadowed by comparison. Musicality is incredible and it’s definitely one I had to hear multiple times when it came out a few days ago to properly wrap my head around.

Despite having a million things going on, it does a great job rooting itself in its core ideas so the identity and effectiveness aren't lost.
I think they also did a really great job balancing each others' styles. I love both artists and got to hear plenty from both of them, with some bits and solos which could have been made by either one.

Feels pretty 2015-2016 to me. Not saying it's bad or anything, but if someone would have told me this in az old pegboard nerds track, i'd probably believe it.
i feel like the off-drops COMPLETELY DOMINATED THE SONG.
don’t get me wrong, the drops aren’t bad at all, they’re pretty fun! (though straightforward as you said) but the off-drops are basically perfection. they’re jazzy, they’re fast-paced, they’re catchy, they’re EVERYTHING an off-drop needs to be.
glad to see off-drops getting an equal or better amount of importance compared to drops, which are usually the ones containing most of the effort put into the song. this is beautiful!

i left a comment about this song on the mcat reddit, giving my opinions on it
"gotta be honest? i dont really like this, like yeah its well made, cant knock that even if this sounds like a circus release to me, but 1) i cant really tell what skybreak did here as teminite dominates this (badly imo) and 2) the drops feel really underwhelming and fall flat to me, i get the old school brostep sound they did here but its not really my thing personally and im getting a bit tired of that sound tbh.

Skybreak is dominantly present in the verses/off-drops sections. Very very Skybreak, if you listen to Speedrun with Ace Aura, you can hear the same sound. Lots of jazzy sort of pianos that he has made signature.
I feel quite the opposite about this. I feel like skybreak dominates this track. The intro, melody, bridge, just everything sounds like skybreak. except for first drop that is teminite.
its pretty clear that both of their styles/sounds are in here imo which is seriously impressive. reminds me of how well Au5 & Fractal would blend their styles back in the day, serious talent on show
Also the second drop is totally skybreak. Just adding to what these guys said ^
