just watching the video twice, flew a nice season with the b3 on xplane. i dont know how, but your videos are helping me to get better at flying the b3 in xplane
Stellar flying there mate! - Guess the crew of Kystverket (the Norwegian Coastal Authorities) was both impressed and happy with a good job well done . . . 👍
Sorry did not see this comment. But I'd your still interested it us adjusted by an electrical motor. It is used to monitor the load in flight and also the skids for landing.
Hi, i have a question. In what type of Category and performance class are u operating? Wouldn't u need to use a life jacket/survival suit operating over water? Love the videos! 👍👍
Otherwise, it's very interesting and you took time to explain what you were doing, as I understand, boat operations are hard because you loose all terrain references around and it can be worse with the wind right ? Anyway, thanks for this video. I shared it on an helicopter group on facebook and people seems to like it to :D
Yes the loss of reference is the main difficulty for me. That and the slight movement of the boat from the downwash. Don't get me wrong you can get good at it but I fly from boats MAYBE once per year
no not ex military. you start as a loadmaster and get to fly the ferry flights between missions. after you do that for while you will be checked out on easier types of operations like taxi flights and maybe sight seeing. then sling load, and so and so on.
Brilliant video bro
Love watching you fly 🤙
Thanks man ☺️
Love the way you have the plug on the side of the swing. Never seen that before.

Such a nice chanel ! Now I see why putting a couple of hang gliders down on the Kjerag plateau must be a piece of cake in comparison ;-)

Quality.
You mention “adjusting the mirror”. Is it servo adjustable? What is the mirror used for? To see the skids? Or while slinging.

"First" I guess ? :D
the captain of the boat must be the 1 dislike
Looks alot like Newfoundland but don't look like one of are boots haha Sweden I take it ?
After several years as a heli pilot, would you do it again? Or did u ever ask yourself if becoming a fixed wing pilot would‘ve fitted u better?
i think there isnt any heli pilot on the hole world who ask himselft this question...
Once you go helo, there's No going back! Fixed wing is boring Old news........ unless you've got an F-15 parked in the garage...😁👍
Yes I would do it again. . I don't think I would ever fly Fixed wing no.
Are these pilots all ex-military? How does one get a-star time if you trained in a piston?
