The RAV4 Prime being in such short supply seems to have really upped the ante for the rest of the market. I personally really like Kia's muted "martian" paint colors. Great review as always!
Many think that when a PHEV runs out of charge you are left with nothing and dragging around a heavy battery ...That's not true of course, the battery will always reserve some charge and behave like a non plug-in hybrid car..to be most efficient though you _do_ need to plug in, I find every 2 days is good for my usage.
@@MattMaranMotoring gonna begin buying a 2025 prestige tomorrow -- looks more understated, sophisticated and elegant compared to the Hyundai counterpart. Thanks again
I drive semi trucks for a living and the freightliner's i drive even have adaptive cruise control. And if you swerve over the lines it will worn you but i get really anoide by it so i turn off the lane departure worning.
But it doesn't drive very well. My wife and I tested one (not hybrid) , then a CRV and a CX-5. The CRV/CX-5 were much better. I did like the tech but at the end of the day to me the car is more about how it drives and I didn't like the Kia at all

Thanks for watching man!
Great review Matt, seems like a great commuter vehicle.
This is a tough segment. PHEVs make so much sense as a daily

That acceleration looks pretty decent for this PHEV. Not bad! 👍
Well done Matt, very informative
Thanks, glad you liked it!

Test drove it and the Tucson, got the Outlander PHEV even after driving an EV6 AWD
Don’t link the video, bring her back for this one, want to hear her rant about the piano black
The 2026 refresh is the one to wait for. Hopefully Kia’s terrible markups and the rates go down and I’ll get one
Under MSRP near me.
This Compared with Lexus NX, Infiniti QX50 & Acura RDX
Nissan doesn't have PHEVs so this round goes to Kia!
Kia is the best at creating cold and artificial looking colors. None evoke any pleasant feelings for me.

🙂👍
sorento phev gawdy blue leather interior only bahahhahaha.......it's like KIA intentionally does NOT want you to buy a hybrid!
Looks like something from China … idk not a fan of
That is so ugly. The front end gives me Pontiac Aztec vibes. Looks totally different, just pass.
😂It's not the best looking front end! But it looks nothing like an Aztec. 😂
@MrChrissercamaro just the vibe. I'm not sure if anything is as ugly ad the Aztec.
