- Just some rambling about my main guitar. Thanks to everyone at Tom Anderson Guitarworks for making these incredible instruments. This guitar smokes all my other ones.
If you ever wonder if a guitar like this is worth the money, the answer is yes!
Great tone.... Love that percussive thing it has on the attack. Same story here - payed for undergrad playing guitar 5 nights a week and road work..... Now I have an "adult job," lol.
Thanks! Adult jobs let us afford the gear we could only dream of if we were full time musicians. .....how ironic! :)
Holy Cow, I have the same Naylor Duel 60 and Bora-Bora Blue drop top classic as you. Been an Anderson player since 1992. Life-changing instruments. Happy Playing!
Wow! Clearly you're a man of great taste and character. :) It's such a great setup IMHO
I just got my first TA, a drop top classic shorty mongrel. Two humbuckers and single coil. So sick. Now I have to get one more classic drop top in the S style like yours. 😀
Congrats! As someone who plays both a short and long scale Anderson daily, I can say you're definitely on the right path by getting a 25.5 scale Andy. Start saving $$. ;)
Caves of Altamira?? Very nice! And, I have a drop top classic too. As much as I love my Suhrs, that guitar is my gem.
Yup, that's one of my favorite tunes. It's a classic IMO. Congrats on your axe collection, and I'm glad to meet another drop top classic fan. Cheers!
@@BenBreard I should have said very nice playing too!
@@karlsalocks thank you for that. I appreciate it!
Hello! Love your TA guitar! Was wondering if you have tried a Happy Medium neck with Full-scale length neck?
I have not. I do have a happy medium profile on my cobra and love it. ....but of course that's the shorter scale. I would imagine it feels just as good on the 25.5 scale. This drop top has the .05 thicker neck, which is pretty beefy. I honestly don't feel that much difference when I switch to the cobra - little thinner, little shorter. That's all.
Black Cow! I recognize those chorde ;-)
Yeah man! One of my favorite tunes!
My Drop T is 23 years old 😱 How did that happen? 🤣 I feel the same way about mine, Anderson’s are simply awesome guitars!
Man it goes quickly. Awesome to hear you're in the same boat. My first one was a Cobra S from '99. I sold that one to fund an engagement ring. .....that was definitely the right move. :)
@@BenBreard I bought a Cobra a couple of years after my Drop Top purchase. I wasn’t able to fully bond with it and I sold it a couple of years ago. The Drop Top isn’t going anywhere 🤣
Before the fall, when they wrote it on the wall...
My man! Sing it! :)
TA drop top and a Naylor amp! It doesn't get any better!!!!!!
I don't disagree. :)
Great picking Ben, And the tone is off the hook!
@@BenBreard
Awesome. I have one coming in tomorrow. My first one. What are you playing through? Sounds great
Congrats on getting an Anderson! I hope you love it as much as I like mine. I'm running straight into my Naylor Dual 60 with a little delay and verb in the loop. It's actually the best low (and high) volume amp I've ever had. That was recorded at wife-approved volume. :)
@@BenBreard man I miss using real amps sometimes lol. Sounds killer.
Yeah, I might be acquiring more real amps. .....even though I pretty much only gig with a Kemper. We'll see. :)
