- Recipe:
▶️ 800 gr. flour (brasno)
▶️ 1 active dry yeast (kvasec)
▶️ 1 teaspoon salt (sol)
▶️ 500 ml water (voda)
▶️ 250 gr. butter (margarin ili puter)
▶️ 200 gr. feta cheese (sirenje)
▶️ 200 gr. ricotta cheese (urda)
▶️ 2 eggs (jajca)
▶️ Bake for 40 min. 430*F or 220*C
Makes two small Zelnik or one big
Enjoy!

The pita dough is basically the same as what my mother used to make and it’s delicious. No other pita or banitsa compares! Kora and filo are fine but this dough is incredibly delicious. Please tell me about how to mix the yeast with water, do you use a certain amount of water to add the yeast to and any sugar or salt too? Thanks, I can almost taste it! Blago dareh.
