I never thought of Jesus being human and living day to day ... till the Chosen. Beautiful stories!
In this day and age of chaos, The Chosen has taken me to a place I never dreamed possible. To see the story unfold and the care and prayer involved in every aspect of the production has been so enlightening, authentic and exciting.

One of my favorite scenes in this show is when Jesus and Lazarus are talking about the suffering that Jesus has to go through, and Lazarus realizes that when Isaiah speaks of this person in the Bible, this is a real person he is referring to. A man who feels pain and sadness and finds it difficult when God has to turn His back on Jesus.
God is great and has a plan for Israel and the gentile believers,fear not he is more control now more than ever. When things look impossible is when God is more intervened. That is my testimony . Hang in there al Christians stay sin free. Time is clicking .😎🦁♥️
Love this The Chosen Exc Producer individual insights and wisdom about Jesus's WALK ON EARTH with few or no writing but His Life was the Living Word like a ever running River of Living. His insight about Jesus Christ Life of Earth offers so much insight and wisdom which I totally agree and validate as hidden from foresight unless we GO INTO OUR CLOSET AND PRAY WHERE GID HEARS AND SEE US sums up in this message. When Dallas said when describing how he got into making The Chosen and how he felt an urgency to do it, my soul said absolutely. By the time the last season is made, we may be coming to a time when The Chosen can no longer be put onto media, that is, cultures and media no longer accepting anything to do Christ. Also, I can understand one hundred percent spiritual warfare for a project like this.
Hi God Bless, back in 2020 I was getting very fed up with TV soaps. The first time The Chosen came up on Utube. I thought oh more of those weird films. I didn't watch until a Catholic Priest came on utube and spoke about it. Then wham I was hooked. I have been reading my Bible for years, but I started into reading the New Testament all the way through. The Chosen is Brilliant.😊

Why was Daryl's Mormon faith not addressed in this video? The discussion sounds like two Christians talking, but Mormons are not Christian. They do not preach the same Jesus or gospel. Many know that he is a Mormon but some don't. This is a big thing. Do you think people would respond differently to your interview with Daryl if they knew he was Mormon? You can't tell half the story and have it mean the same thing! This should have been addressed. Study Mormonism and you will find that its teachings contradict biblical Christianity all over the place.

Everything about the life of Jesus is not included in the Bible. Those who walked with him wrote down the things that were out of the ordinary. This TV series showing the human-ness of Jesus allows him to be relatable to people who could never understand him before. Jesus would have died to save one person. If this series brings one person to Christ, I believe he would be happy. But it is bringing many people to Christ and that is the blessing. There is no way for 100% historical accuracy because we don’t know the details of his everyday life. But there is archaeological evidence that talks about the everyday life of people who lived during that time, and that can be woven into the story without taking away anything from the Biblical narrative of the extraordinary aspects of the life of Jesus. Many people forget that Jesus was Jewish and lived the life of a traditional Jewish man during his lifetime. The series is helping people understand that. People were not called Christians when he was alive or even shortly after his death. They were still Jews living a different way than they had in the past, and they shared their message with the rest of the world.

I thought the chosen series was not Biblically accurate...
Was Mary, Jesus mother at most of his greatest miracles? Where was the rest of his family?
Was Jesus and group stoned at the Temple or did people just pickup rocks?
Why did most of the dialog sound modern, "Why are you walking like a machine?" or "Just lie down and breath." or "How frustrating is this, these people don't get it." or "God's ways are higher than mans", so then it sucks to be you sinner.
Then there's the discussion with Lazarus of Jesus greatest and last miracle, "it was good it was you Lazarus". Who did the miracle, Jesus, Mary or God?
What's the back story on Mary Magdalene and why was she portrayed as a manic depressive, schizophrenic.
Martha Lazarus sister was the adult in the room and everyone else wanted to be entertained. She gets slammed and you can throw in Judas for the same thing, trying to be appreciated for who they really are and the gifts they have. I'm sorry God created you but you're not allowed to be yourself, where do I find that in the Bible?
@@oralpowers7932The Chosen only shows Jesus mother there for two miracles, not most of them; one of which the Bible actually records her as being there. Yes they did pick up rocks in the temple to stone Jesus and his disciples where there with him, it’s in the Bible. Also the Temple was under construction during the time of that incident, so yes rocks would have been readily available. “God’s ways are higher than our ways” is from Isaiah 55, you might want to read it. And yeah, other than Jesus’ own resurrection, raising Lazarus, a man dead for 4 day, would have been His greatest miracle. Mary Magdalene is not portrayed as a manic depressive schizophrenic, she is show for who she actually was, possessed by 7 demons. Really what show have you been watching? And of course the dialogue sounds modern, it’s in English, which they didn’t speak, Do you really think they didn’t have modern 1st century sayings?
It’s a historical drama tv series based on the Bible. There a lot of historical and cultural context added and there are parts that are not direct from scripture but that doesn’t mean that Biblical Truths are not used in those parts. When they cover the direct from scripture parts like the miracles and Jesus’ teachings they are very Biblically accurate.

@@ThePreacherman9 I’m sorry but what part of the Chosen being a historical drama tv series based on the Bible and not some new version of the Bible or even a Bible study do you not understand? When it talks about adding to the Word of God it’s not talking about having the character of Jesus in a tv series speak everyday dialogue that everyone would have spoken. It’s about adding or taking away things that distort the Word of God, changing it or who Jesus is to another message or gospel. To show Jesus saying things like the traditional daily prayers that every single Jewish person would have done isn’t “adding” to the Word of God. Do you honestly think that the only words Jesus ever spoke were the ones recorded on scripture? Do you think they just walked silently from town to town? And John clearly tells us that Jesus did much more than what was recorded. You know, it’s always best to not talk about things you know nothing about, so I would suggest you actually watch the series, compare it to what the Bible teaches first before telling others what to do, because if you did you’d actually find that there’s a whole lot more Bible and Bible Truths going on in the show than you thought. The FACT is that this show is drawing people to actually read the Bible and as a result of that desire to dig deeper souls are being saved, lives are being changed. It almost makes me wonder what side these complaining Christians are on that they have a problem with people being exposed to Jesus. It’s like you think God can’t handle this or something.
From a viewer point-of-view, I wouldn't agree that the acting or story-telling was any better than in seasons 1-3. Sounds like a marketing throw-away line. From the outset, the show has hit on all cylinders. In many ways, I prefer ssns 1 & 2, but I love all four. Can't wait for the 5th!

@@anitasez Yes it is quite childish to keep using “authentic” Jesus when you also claim your show is only 5% Biblical. And he used it twice I believe. Authentic means “real”. Does anyone really know the real Jesus? Someday hopefully. But I will say they do a very creative job of the other 95% of the writing - a plausible Jesus.
