I’ll be applying for Biochemistry this year :)
Nice!! :))
I firmed UCL for this fall :)
I’m going into my second year of chemistry at Pembroke, Oxford - hope you enjoy ChCh!
Have applied for Biomedical Science this year!
I’m a US student at UChicago and I literally have no idea what any of this means but it’s entertaining
I was watching the US College Decision reaction videos and it was the exact same for me :)
ahh well UCAS is a website where where you can apply to colleges/unis through. I think you get like 5 unis that you can apply to you pick which ones you want. You get made an offer of what grades you have to get, she mentioned them in the video. You get notifications through the app/website informing you if you have or haven't got in. Hope this help if you can try to explain the American version of this since i don't understand it either!
this is exactly how I feel but with American universities
@@user-pb5jt6xk2m the American version is basically a bunch of essays, standardised test scores, recommendation letter and extracurriculars which people read and decide if you get in.
@@kumarvikramaditya9636 it sounds like a cv what person who got out of high school has that.
this was such a good watch thank you!!! wishing the best of luck with your career, i’m waiting for my offers right now i can’t 😭😭
I don’t why I got so happy for when she got in Oxford even though it was 2 years ago
Congratulations! im a random kid from another country who wants to go to the UK for uni so now I'm binge watching so many Uni decision videos lol.
I’m an international student in year 11 and I’m really looking forward to the application season even if there are still 2 years to go :) Congrats on all your offers!! They are sooooo brilliant unis💕
Thank you!!! Good luck for your application season

A tip would be to do as much extra curricular and experience as possible and reading into your subject will help with a personal statement
I applied to Cambridge, Bath, Durham, Bristol and St. Andrews for psychology this year. I do maths, bio and psyc for my a-levels, plus an EPQ (my EPQ is about intelligence testing and models of intelligence)
I got an offer from bristol first which was AAB with no specific subject requirements - this was exciting just because it means that no matter what I had at least one offer.
I got an offer from Durham next which was AAB or BBB if I firmed them. I was happy but after the scandal with the boys trying to sleep with the poorest girl and seeing how they handled the situation - I knew I didn't want to go.
Then I got a St. Andrews offer which shocked me as it was my lowest offer, ABB - but it was in November; very early by Scottish Uni standards as I'm applying from England.
Next was my Cambridge interview - I thought it went decently but not particularly well, especially as rumours were going around that Oxbridge was decreasing the number of offers this year to account for grade inflation. Luckily, I got an offer - and it was quite low as well, only A*AA, which is fairly low by Oxbridge standards.
Finally I got an offer from Bath. It was A*AA or AAA plus an A in my EPQ. I was happy about Bath but the offer was too high for me to put it as my insurance after firming Cambridge.
So finally, I decided to firm Cambridge and put St. Andrews as my insurance.
That’s amazing!! Well done!!! :))))
how'd it go? you get in?
@@itzkai6756 i did! i got 3A* plus an A* in my EPQ so ill be reading for a psychology and behavioural sciences degree in october!
@@doyoungslove2606 omg congrats!!!

Congratulations!!
Thank you!!
Did LSE look at your MAT score? I know they don’t ask it on their course page but they emailed me to require addition information from me and one of the questions was what admission test do you take and obviously I chose MAT, but I really messed it up. So I’m just very paranoid now.
Hi Lucy, loved the video btw, I just wanted to ask where’d did you get those detailed requirements from each university eg. Around 7:16. Thanks!
Thank you!! I got them from UCAS, if you click on each of the offers :)

Congrats on being accepted by Oxford!!
Thank you!!
@@LucyWangYuxin Hey which uni did you choose at the end?
And do you think I can be accepted in a course that asks AAA in a levels if I am from Spain with my equivalent grades to A levels being AAB?
Congrats btw,I would never imagine myself being accepted by top tier universities across UK so that is a huge achievement ;)

sheeesh not one 8
genius!
Who here’s an ib kid who doesn’t understand these A level offers
Haha I get you! I was watching a video about someone doing ib talking about their points and stuff and was confused…
What she means by year 13?
school year
What are conditions? I’m a US student
It's basically conditions you have to reach in order to get into the University and do the course. E.g. If you need grades AAB to study Neuroscience at a certain University, they may accept or reject you if you are predicted/have the potential to get those grades. If you get accepted for a conditional offer, they basically say something along the lines of "You have been given this offer, and you can study Neuroscience on the *condition* that you get AAB grades". Hope that made sense...
@@ilna4813 that makes sense
