I'm disassembling the Transmission on my 73 Eldorado as I'm typing this because of a Broken Shift return spring.I was able to shift through the gears but i had to manually return the shifter to where the return spring would, I've taken off the End cover so far.I've searched for videos on this subject but because of the wording I used your's didn't come up.I'm glad I did find your's as it is a great help. Job Well Done
Thanks for your comment and I'm glad to be of help . I've changed the wording of the title to make it easier for people to find [ sometimes I get carried away ]. . I have the bearings , but I am still waiting for the stronger spring to arrive before I begin the rebuild . Take lots of photos of the strip down so you can remember where everything fits .But they are really quite simple and well made . Good luck .
Thank You.I pulled the rear cover off of the Transmission, but that is where i stopped.I now have my Engine apart due to finding metal on my Magnetic drain plug.I'm glad this happened during the Winter where it's the most convenient time. Your Videos are very informative. Thanks again. Mike
No,it has the Gilardoni Cylinders.I'm replacing the Oil pump(rough looking shafts),both front and rear bearings,Connecting rod brearings,Piston Rings, and getting my Camshaft reground.Other than that just gaskets and seals, lol
@@dungspreaderMy mate has an ex police 750, The styling on that is very odd! he has had no luck with it having rebuilt the engine three times including new barrels and pistons and then the wiring loom lit up on the first ride!
@@Volcanicbrown1878 . Probably a small block . I don't have any experience with them . I've worked on ex police bikes and would never buy one whatever the brand . I like to rewire my bikes with my own simplified harness . Guzzis have lots of troublesome connectors which I leave out and wire everything direct from a new fuse block .

@@cota2472000 . Good luck with the engine , I hope it's nothing serious. Does it have the original chrome bores ?

Looks to be a well made box overall, good size bearings gears and shafts, Quite impressed by it!
Thanks for your comment.
I like Guzzis ( well most of them ) . The engine and box are simple and strong . The styling of some models is a bit weird .
