    I'm watching this after yesterday's final event of the 2020 Crossfit games. It is amazing to see how far these games have come in 7 years. The professionalism and commitment of athletes have gone to a different level. It is just a few more years before these games blow up to the world!

      dude crossfit is exercising (something you do to be healthier) but it is not a sport. Otherwise, yoga and being vegan should also be a sport.

    • @mech0p
      @mech0p 3 роки тому +2

      @@ulkairvillan3219 So what is considered a sport to you because weightlifting is 100% a sport by definition. As for yoga im sure there is a way to turn it into a sport but it would be a very niche one and boring as it would basically be who can hold the poses the longest and entertainment value is a big part of something being considered a sport and the vegan comment is just dumb because its a diet and nothing more.

    The European regionals announcer was so good with all the names. It was awesome to hear them pronounced as I'm assuming they're meant to be as opposed to in the games when they often seem to get phonetically making a guess.

    Crossfit calisthenics is absurd.. "How to cheat as much as possible in every rep" is basically their motto

      so true, I see no benefit to cross fit, I've tried it, didn't like it. I once had a guy tell me he can do 25 pull ups..........when I saw the kipping , I was like "WTF"

      Simon Green it’s not a sport it’s a low outlay max profit money making business .
      Blatant use of steroids with no regulatory body kills any idea of its sporting prowess.
      It reach its peak a few years ago and only really survives in the states ,few people are willing to pay fantastic fees to use scaffolding , tyres ,free weights and a rowing machine in and old lock up industrial unit , when for much less they can get all they want fitness wise in a much more pleasant environment usually with swimming pools saunas etc for a fraction of the cost.
      High discipline good form movements are definitely not something CrossFit is known for ,
      It’s as I say just a max profit business ,you can for $1000 take a 5 day course with CrossFit and start teaching Olympic lifting that’s just unbelievable .
      And kipping is widely taught in these places , the best way to destroy your rotational cuffs ask any professional gymnastic trainer or physiotherapist

      You like most of the people obviously do not understand the deeper meaning of a crosffit . And it is to be able to brag about it everywhere and to everybody constantly. The same as veganism or another deeply meaningful aspect of life.
