  • What are ADVANTAGES and DISADVANTAGES of working and living on the campsite? What is it really like to do a campsite job, at least when we talk about the UK campsite jobs. Whether you works as a campsite warden, campsite assistant or a receptionist, as long as you live on site, you will share most of experiences I talk about in this video. I prepare 8 pros and 5 cons, as I honestly could not think of more! For me personally, the biggest perk of the job is a possibility of living in a caravan on site and doing full time caravanning. The job will keep you active and if you decide to apply for a camping job, you will do a full body workout every day, and you will be paid for doing it. To work camping jobs, is a good choice for those who like to keep active and enjoy being outside in all weathers. This type of work, may be ideal for couple and there are many camping jobs for couples. Working together as campsite wardens, and doing a full time van life, or caravan life, may be a real adventure and nice breath of fresh air to any relationship - this is probably a topic for a separate video! There are many vacancies for campsite warden in the UK, so if you are not put off by the cons of the campsite jobs like: working in summer while everyone else is playing, not having much status linked to the job and being brave to do some disgusting tasks, go for it and try! I hope this video will help you decide. If you enjoyed watching it, please subscribe to the channel, to be the first to know when we release a new video! It is free. Thank you.
20 Is living and working on a campsite the right lifestyle for you?
52 The biggest perk: most of campsite jobs come with a seasonal pitch.
30 No commuting: save time and money.
02 Service point on a seasonal pitch: electric hook up, water tap, drain.
00 Another perk of working on a campsite: you will live in a beautiful place.
36 More perks: campsite work will keep you active. Free full body workout.
50 Campsite work is predictable and you learn to manage your workload.
46 Campsite work with time, becomes almost completely stress free.
46 You meet a lot of interesting and positive people on a campsite.
05 As a campsite staff member you get discounts on stays, in the bar or a campsite shop.
30 The final perk: seasonal campsite job means you don't work in winter.
40 Cons: when you live, work and socialize in one place, with the same people it can be bad.
32 Campsite work requires dedication and commitment. Work is not glamorous.
00 You will meet difficult customers while working on a campsite.
55 Beware of different ways of being paid: fixed salary and hourly rate and terms of employment.
00 Some tasks of campsite staff are disgusting: for example unblocking chemical toilet.

nice video. it's a great life. the pro's far outweigh the cons. it can be a long working day, hours being spread anytime between 5am and midnight, but we love it.

@@FreedomSeekers-FS I would like to work as a truck driver, in my opinion it is a nice job because you can combine work with traveling, I like to drive a car so it's an ideal job for me, I would also like to buy a motorhome or trailer because the driver's work is different work systems such as 3 weeks on the road and one week at home and during this week at home you can travel in a motorhome
