If any of you are wondering why Masa used autotune, it's a reference to the fact that this is all fake. This is actually Mai's dying dream, and since it's not real, Masa probably decided that autotune would be a subtle nod to it. Why autotune? Because it's not the actual notes that the voice is singing, thus it being not real.
And where the proof of that?..... I mean, while you have a good theory it's just that, a theory. And who decided that autotune=bad song and period? I love how it turned out, it helped the vocals flow better with the song..... Autotune is not the end of the world when well utilized...

This really is such a tragic song being that the tune is so upbeat and happy. It goes to show Mai always had such strong feelings towards Akari but the curse mislead her to be so violent and horrible. I hope one day throughout the series their reincarnations can finally live happily in love.

The greenish blue haired one is the sister fusion from the Sisters’ Story series, nor Akari neither the Miku from Will’o the Wisp. Then there’s Akari, she’s in the background and she’s wearing a fox mask, so you might’ve missed her. She’s wearing a Japanese traditional wedding dress.

In “On my seventh birthday”, Amaterasu (Miku) kills Tsukuyomi (Gumi).
In “Me and a heart”, Amaterasu disguises as Tsukuyomi, and cuts ALL of her hair to look like Tsukuyomi, not half of it. In fact, the Tsukuyomi in “Me and a heart” isn’t wearing any glasses even though she had them in “My seventh birthday”, implicating that it’s actually Amaterasu in Tsukuyomi’s disguise, not Tsukuyomi herself. And the Amaterasu looking character isn’t actually Amaterasu herself, but it’s Tsukuyomi’s ghost in Amaterasu’s disguise, who came back to haunt her sister. (I know it’s confusing)
(I’m not very sure about the part after this but this is approximately what happens:)
In “I am the celebration of two people”, Tsukuyomi in Amaterasu’s disguise posesses Amaterasu in Tsukuyomi’s disguise, creating what fans commonly refer to as the “sister fusion”. So the girl with half/half hairstyle isn’t Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu, it’s their fusion. She later on loses her mind completely and stabs herself. She meets Mai in the afterlife, I think.

Well, the original wasn't that innocent either: from what we now of the cannon, it is a dream of Mai (Gumi) living happily with Akari/Zhu Li (Miku), a dream that a dying Mai made to comfort herself. I don't where this song goes in the story (nor do I know the actual story), but both of these ARE innocent, they just happen at very dark moments. So the innocence is questionnable...

I really loved Star Lily Dance performance for its traditional instruments for the story it was telling and the time period it was set in, However in this remix I don't really like the wavering auto-tuned voices, For me it really takes away from the beauty of the original song than adding to it. However I can appreciate the hard work and effort you put into this Masa, You did a good job! But not like what you did with The Fox's Wedding remix you did. But I do really love the art and I can really see how much you improved since the original. ^-^
