    I Love how easy this ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxvAj3godqGAIP5rApM1laH767JGtPG1-h carrier is to adjust from my friend to me taking turns holding the baby! It provides great support on my back too! This has definitely made shopping easier! I always get asked where I get it too!

    I've never been crazy about tube bumpers, but I could definitely live with this one. The optional fuel tank should be a major selling point.

    The spare gasoline can is an outstanding idea, along with the tire carrier and rear bumper! Nice job on showing the installation of everything!

    Just calling out here that if you start to torque the ubolts you will bend those tabs (AEV instructions call for 43 pounds). Does anyone here know if those tabs are supposed to bend around the frame? They will bend long before 43 pound feet. Talked to another individual on the forums that did this install, and he noticed the same thing. Both of us stopped torqueing when they started to slightly bend.

    What size hole you made and what is that tool you are using at 23:49 for the bump stop? I just ordered my bumper and tire carrier and looks like you are adding that bump stop step-as I haven't seen it done by anyone else. I think it is a good addition. If you can give me more info on it that would be awesome!! Thanks for this great video.

      We match the same size hole on the JK tailgate that the bumps came from.
      iirc it was 3/8".

    Hello, I am interested in this product, But i have a question for you. you mean It can't fit 40 inches tire with fuel cannister, other choice is it can fit up to 40 inches tire without fuel cannister. AM I RIGHT?

    Very interesting: the water tanks are missing. On my JK AEV bumper i have two tanks. But AEV do not provide the water pump and hoses, that are specifically needed, not any more.

  • @jeepercreepers54
    @jeepercreepers54 Рік тому

    As usual another great video! I wish you would do an install video for the AEV rear bumper for the JK. There are no professional videos out there for the rear bumper like there is for the front on the AEV site. Question. Why did AEV abandon the water tanks for the JL bumper or are they available at extra cost? Thanks.

    • @northridgenation
      @northridgenation  Рік тому

      Thanks for the props!
      If we can get an AEV JK rear in here to do a video on it, we will.
      They only built the tanks for the JK, not for the JL bumper. We would guess that if enough people asked for JL water tanks, they'd build some.

    We have this same set up on our 392 and love it. Fueling from the aux tank directly into the jeeps gas tank is very easy. My question is, would you know any spare tire mounted bike rack that would work with this set up ? All the ones I’ve seen have tubes that hang on the spare but the fuel tank seems to block it. Thank you

      A hitch mount bike carrier might be the best solution.

      Did you have to lower the exhaust on one side to get the corners on? My 392 exhaust was sitting higher on one side than the other -- just curious.

    • @luisandluisgabriel6778
      @luisandluisgabriel6778 2 роки тому +1

      @@guarnibl Hey Bret, sorry for the delay in response. No, we did not have to adjust the exhaust. I am concerned with it that it sits so low one day it will get smashed on something but till then, 🤷‍♂️.

    Why is the tire carrier installed and then removed? Seems unnecessary unless I am missing something. Just install the tank first then install the carrier and adjust.

    • @northridgenation
      @northridgenation  2 роки тому

      It is all about the trim tanks.
      You have to install the carrier to adjust and tighten the spindle housing. And you have to do that before you install the plastic trim tanks.
      Once that is done, you have to put the carrier arm out to install the trim tanks.
