One small tip . Mint in the ground takes up the entire garden . That’s what happened to me in my garden as it roots go very deep . Try keeping them in pots .
Beautiful and biiiig garden space !!
Thank you so much 💕 yes mint is taking over like crazy 😁 ..
So sweet! I enjoyed the tour around your lovely garden. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the bird songs in the back-ground. Another plus for living in Texas. Cheers : )
Thank you 😊
Can't wait to see it all grow . And bravo Mr Subbu xx
Thanks 😊
Beautiful garden! I did cardboard/mulch too! It works really well. Your mystery plant looks a lot like my avocado. I'm glad to find your channel, and looking forward to watching your food forest grow. I wish u successful growing
So nice of you🤗💕 yes I think its avocado too..
You have such a big backyard 👌💕
Very nice garden!!!
Where did you buy regular desi mint and chocolate mint???
Do u have lot of geckos in tx. How do u keep them away? Any tips
The berry bushes spread from roots.I will have to look for thornless ones. I had one plant and now I have many. Also early girl tomato plants only take 56 days to have tomato's. I have problems with groundhogs and chipmonks. Also have a lot of deer.
Yes we got new growth for blackberry. Arapaho variety is thornless and that is what we have. Maybe use somekind of fencing to keep them away. Good luck.
What soil good for in backyard for vegetable gardening?potting soil or garden soil?
Garden soil is preferred.
Wow! Greetings from Bahrain. Beautiful vlog!
I love your garden but wonder what becomes to many of them in winter and wish to know how to winterisethem.Thanks.
Thank you 😊 some plants do not survive in harsh winters.. you have to replant them next year .. if they are in pots you can try moving them inside garage and see if they survive.
THANKS.
so sweet tree
Nice work
You're in Texas! I used to live for a long time in San Antonio. Why didn't I see your channel back when I was still there? :( It makes me sad I came to your channel late.
Wow that's awesome.. Texan 🙌
lovely sharing
New friend here
I live in Texas but my backyard clay soils so I need advice because I planted orange for over 2 year still not grew
Yeah we also have clay soil in some area. For clay soil you can do soil amendments, by adding perlite, cocopeat etc to add drainage. Just google for more details. Hope this helps.
lovely garden, where did you buy the dwarf mullbery tree?
From local master gardeners sale.
Nice
Thank you 😊
Can u tell me how n where to get thota kura seeds to grow , I am Plano .Texas. leafy vegetables
You can get from seedsofindia.com or look for local Indian friends/gardener group. Someone can share some seeds with you.
@@SubbuCooks thanks for the quick response .I will check.
@@SubbuCooks Mango tree is from which store?
the cardboard doesnt break down when it gets wet and soggy?? or does it just dry out again when the sun shines?
Yes it does get wet and breakdown but since it's thick it takes a lot of time to completely degrade and decompose. Yes when the weather is hot, it dries out.. so it lasts longer. Hope this helps.
my neighborhood sprays for mosquitoes im concerned will this be dangerous to my garden and what could i do?
If possible You can ask them if they can avoid your garden area
Hi, can you please tell me, from where did you get Maruvam plant?
Local garden center.. English name is "sweet marjoram".
Thank you so much
the plant you were ref to as Loquat seems to be an Avocado Plant
After researching a lot, I think its avocado😊
Can u please tell me what sort of soil is that?
Regular garden soil
Do you have kari patta plant
U can use an app "picture this" to identify the plants
Thank you, yes we tried different apps and we thinks its avocado.🤗💕

Where did you buy your Mulberry tree from?
Got it from a local Houston master gardeners sale. I think you can find in starkbros website, just google for dwarf mulberry and you will find lot of websites that sell. Hope this helps 😊

Hi
where will get curry plant?
Indian grocery stores..
Good looking smart
when did you plant the pomegranate plant? And how tall does it grow?
We planted Last year around August or so. Not sure how tall it grows .. but variety is Texas pomegranate, you can look up in Google.
nice all the best for good farming. your voice is too low to hear. but liked your patience in explaining. all the best
Thank you 😊 I checked on the sound, it was fine for me. Maybe try increasing your device volume or UA-cam video volume. Thanks
Where do you get your seeds
Some from friends and some from seedsofindia website. Regular tomatoes etc I got from homedepot/lowes.
Are you Indian or another country because your explanation in English so I asked you thanks
How many Indian families stay near your home in Texas?
How to grow mint
You can get seeds and sow them in soil. You can also get a root from a friend or buy the plant from store. Mint is a low maintenance plant .. it is also very invasive plant and it spreads vigorously.. so it's better you grow in pots. Hope this helps.
Did u plant any indian plants there
Yes we have planted beans, okra, curry leaves plant etc
Can you ship curry leaves plant
Yep, cardboard usually works well to keep weeds at a minimum. Does everything get enough sun since it is all next to the wood fence? Great variety of plants!
Thank you 😊 yes usually in the morning-noon time we get sun on the plants that are near fence.
Where do you get gongura seeds?
One of my friend shared it. You can find them at seedsofindia website too 👍
@@SubbuCooks Thank you!
The citrus plant may produce small limes. At least that's what it looks like from where I am seeing the leaves and the thorns.
I think it's a citrus too .. but not sure what kind of citrus ..

Looking so hot
cardboard is a eye sore. spend money and buy mulch. and the grass is dead water it please.
For me I am ok with bare cardboard. But we did mulch later as ants are hiding beneath cardboard.
I agree bro... Lets sponsor some money so that we don't have to look at those eye soaring cardboard....what do you say?
@@padmanabharao3449 that would be nice 😃👏
